This is my favorite city builder. I love the dynamic population mechanic where people don't omt just appear from nowhere when you zone. They must immigrate or be born :) great guide!!

I only found this game recently and so far it has been pretty good. I have been able to get playing a lot faster than I was able to with Cities Skylines..

duuude ur a lifesaver, i love this game but some parts are so obtuse. i still dont understand why zoning by density is the way it is. currently have a city with almost every inch covered with buildings and there's still housing demand even though all the zones are high density. but other than that u were pretty comprehensive and still taught me new things even if i have 5 hrs in the game and like 500 in CS1, thank you

Hello Ali Atef, and thank you for the feedback. I am glad to help. The game has had considerable updates so I need to revisit it for better info. As for demand that is normal as you can keep on building in other plots of land in the same region.

This game looks interesting but i prefer games with some sort of combat units and wars. If only you could Select Wars... I really enjoy your videos they are easy to follow and built constructivly! :)

Thank you for the compliment. I showcase a verity of games because people's choices and preferences change over time and while I love getting lost in city building for example I am easily puled into a singeplayer campaign of an RTS or the story of a turn based RPG. Not to mention the lure of a 4X's Just one more turn!

@@perafilozof i agree, city buildings and managing is great, but I love it when it's mixed with some sort of a military aspect. But either way I am enjoying your content!

Great guide. Thank you. Edit: Figuring out transit, as you mentioned I think it's mostly a numbers and efficiency thing.

Great tutorial, just bought the game and struggled a lot with balancing RCI. My questions are, how do you structure transportation, are there ways in which you can specialize a city / make use of the terrain and how does the balance between zone densities work exactly?
@perafilozof3 жыл бұрын
Hello Tryrshaugh Road and welcome to my channel. 1. I would advise not going to deep into transportation until some patches and just zoning less densely. 2. By making a city export utilities or workers or having unique buildings in it. 3. The balance prevents you from having all high density because that would require insane amounts of utilities & services, while the roads would collapsing under traffic congestion. A healthy mix is 50/30/20.

Good explanatory video Pera, as always! I've been looking at this game as being interesting and wanted to see a video on it. Glad I found yours. Will have to check out your other videos to see more gameplay. I'm enjoying Rise of Industry right now, got it on a good sale. Made a few videos. Now going to wait for a good sale for Citystate 2.

Yeah, the Dev really went with gameplay that wasn't explored in similar games. Lots of politics to balance out and the maps like back in SimCity 4 are really cool. Enjoy!

Cities Skylines has shallow gameplay. This game has much better management options and gameplay. As for pure building and mods sure CS takes the prize. But again... shallow is much worse than actual city management.
