I would like to also add in, that it's important to talk clearly! I've been on the platform for 6 years, and I've just realized at the beginning of 2020, I could not hear myself in my videos. I wasn't articulating! My words were slurring together, so make sure you speak clear, loud (well not too loud lol), and end your words nicely! Makes a huge difference!

Vanessa I love your tips. You are incredible, I'm watching this video in 2021 and I'd say things have changed now. Vlogging has become a huge part of entertainment on KZbin. People including myself do search for "what I do in my life/morning routines" etc, especially if your vlog titles are specific to a certain type of people for example "a day in my life as model" now you are right in saying vlogs don't receive that much success, but they are fast becoming popular and I personally LOVE SEARCHING FOR NEW Vlogs/lifestyle vloggers. They are very inspiring.
