I gave it a shot, but got utterly lost with your tutorial no matter how many times I attempted it. Something that might be helpful for future videos might be a loop count per row. Thanks for putting this video up, I'm glad it could help others.

Great video! I’m wondering what pattern you used for this shawl. So pretty 😍

It's one that's been sitting in my pile to finish writing up for ages, unfortunately, but you could continue on with the same pattern as the start and it will work out just fine!

I would have problems with remembering where to increase inside the shawl.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I been looking for a triangle scarf with Tunisian crochet like this. Can you tell me what stitch you used to create the “stripe” effect on this? It’s beautiful!

You can use either tunisian purl stitch or tunisian reverse stitch. They look a little different, so I encourage you to experiment. If I remember correctly, I used the purl stitch for this one (and sorry for the slow response!)

Great tutorial without fussing about back bump foundation row and the border stitch -rare among Tunisian crochet tutorials:) 2 questions 1. Your increases in the centre stitches skip one instead of 2 consecutive ones, is that correct (and still yield that beautiful centre vertabra)? 2. In the original purple shawl, there seem to be transition rows around row 10 or so with a different stitch creating a cable/layering effect. What stitch did you use for that? With much thanks:)

Yeah, the back bump isn't so important on this one since it is the tiny little starting center part of the shawl. I do normally work in the back bump to start a tunisian project if the start end is going to be obvious. I'm not sure what you mean about skipping center stitches? I did not skip any stitches at all. The middle two stitches are worked normally, with a yarn over before and after the two center stitches. As far as what the other stitch I used was... I believe it was Tunisian purl stitch? I actually haven't even finished that shawl and it's been sitting in purgatory for like... two years. I need to finish it!
