This is a small thing, but I learned that the most common size that people commissioning paintings request is 8x10. I realized that the smallest size I was offering was 9x12. So, with this new information, I added 8x10 as an option.

This was so helpful! I want to say that working for free helped me immensely. I started my photography journey by doing “free” work for some local magazines in Raleigh IN EXCHANGE FOR AD SPACE. I would go photograph the photo shoots they needed done, edit them, and submit them to the magazine. I ended up getting my work on 3 covers which LAUNCHED me and my credibility. So now my food photo covers are on the side bar of my food blog which just makes me smile because I did free work but I GOT SO MUCH MORE OUT OF IT IN THE END. It paid off and more! ✨🎉😀

Hey Roberto, thanks for the video! You manage to keep my hopes up and give some really valuable information every time. I'm a young freelance illustrator and concept artist. I'm kinda finding my way, and figuring out if I should do freelance or work in a studio or do something else. I guess my most marketable skill is knowing how to use photoshop really well, since I've been using it since 2011, when I was 10 years old. That feeds into my digital painting/visual arts skills for stuff like cover design for albums or books, and illustration and concept art work like I mentioned.

I've been very focused on getting to where I want to be in life career-wise and right now I'm mostly trying to sharpen my 3D/CGI skills so I can start working in that area. I'm mostly practicing right now, and I'm up at 4am every morning to do exactly that, and I don't call it quits until 9/10pm. I do have a day job in between, but on my days off I'm still up at 4am, 7 days a week! Since you asked about marketable skills, I am a fairly talented illustrator and I feel like I could actually start realistically doing freelance work in that area, but I have to build a portfolio (which I am in the process of doing). I'll definitely be joining your discord server!

It s tough work, I was just about to quit, but you've kept me going. It 's not easy to grow a channel. I got very discouraged when I realised that educational channels can be so hard to grow. I couldn't understand how people you make video reactions, stare at a video, voice 3 or for statements about it were getting tens of thousands of views and likes, whereas other channels; particularly educational were not. Thanks for the first steps! I've been humming about advertising myself for freelance video work for a few months, but never knew where to start or quite had the guts to pull the trigger. Hopefully with your advice I'll finally go for it. I would say my marketable skill is that I give all of my talent to the project at hand. I don't half-step a job to make it look 'ok'. I exhaust everything I've learned and approach the task at different angles to achieve the highest quality I am able to produce. I've been looking forward to that Fiverr rant since you mentioned it in your Top Freelance Websites video.
