I love the tip about cutting out *people* wasting time. Let me expand on that to include FAMILY MEMBERS. Because a lot of people will not do that because they believe family is everything. In my experince, my own family members were bringing me down, behaving in a toxic manner, and 5 years ago I cut them out because it was causing me depression and I needed to rid that toxicity out of my life. It has done WONDERS for my happiness and success! 👍🏻

My favourite success secret: Those who think they know it all will stagnate, but the minute you step back and start poking holes in your own knowledge, you begin to fill in those holes, and therefore you start learning and growing.

Another Roberto Blake classic video! Always quality content! My favorite secret is number one....being super disciplined and ruthless with my time. The average person will never understand why we are passionate about creating content. For me it’s a no brained and worth the sacrifice! 1. Be disciplined and Ruthless with your time 2. Success is not permanent and failure isn’t final! Major 🔑 3. Hustle...move with a sense of urgency. Have a tremendous work ethic! Work smart...work hard 4. Be more self aware 5. Tap into your creative! Don’t be afraid to be different. And a bonus secret. Thanks for (A. Q. C. ) another quality creation.

So, the success secrets are, in summary 1.Be ruthless with your time. 2.Know that success isn't permanent and failure isn't final. 3.Have a tremendous work ethic./Build a body of work. 4.Be self-aware. 5.Embrace Creativity 6.Don't try to fit in./Don't be afraid to be "weird". I love all these tips but my favorite has to be number six, because I'm different from other people by my very nature, due to being Autistic. I think differently and I act differently. I could try to fit in, but that would be exhausting.

If I may add a thought or two about failure: I believe failure should be more than something to be accepted, but rather something to be embraced. Not that anyone should seek it out, but rather it's just part of the process, and if you're not failing, you're probably not trying hard enough, you're not pushing yourself to, and possibly beyond, your limits. Leaping over a puddle is not success. Likewise, attempting to leap over a river only to end up soaking wet is not failure. To paraphrase Thomas Edison, you didn't fail, you just discovered one of the ways not to leap over a river! Excellent video. Really got me thinking. Loved the line about being "ruthless' with your time. Speaking of which... ;)

Probably the one that I would say is most useful would be “being ruthless with ur time.” This means, to me, using all ur time in the most effective way possible to accomplish your goals. Whether it be learning a new skill, a new piece of info, even organizing ur room so u can have a work flow. I feel that’s very important. For me, what’s given me success in life, I’d say, has to be my optimism. An optimistic outlook allows you to more easily block out haters and doubters, and let’s you see the glass half full. My family I live with has repeatedly told me that “oh, no one watches your videos,” or “it’s a waste of time.” But I don’t care cuz it makes me happy and I do have a small audience that watches my content. Optimism has helped me in rough spots in life and is a great tool and mindset to have. And if you lose your optimism like I did last year, things can get rough, but I got out of that state and my optimism is better than ever. So I think anyone looking to succeed needs to be a little optimistic and believe in, with all their heart, what they’re doing. You gotta believe, work hard, commit and see the bright side. That’s all I can say, hope whoever reads this finds it helpful.

Be ruthless with your time is the one that reflects me most. Time is precious. A few years ago I watched an interview of a woman who was telling her story, I don't remember her name but she said, "No matter what happens in your life, what matters is the way how you react to these events." Those words really stood out on me.

Thank you for sharing these sucess tips with us. ☺️ As someone who still feels like an outcast on the platform I get discouraged when my experience isn't recognized or I'm not performing like a channel of my age should. Remembering that those who are willing to work outside the framework of a 'normal' creator are the ones who will engage with people who need a strong, positive message. I see success in very simple terms. Making connections and positively influencing any single viewer is my definition of being successful. Numbers are great for the algorithm and KZbin as a business, but I'm in the market of impacting lives and genuinely encouraging others to become the best versions of themselves. When someone tells me how one of my videos had them smiling or gave them something to look forword to, that is when I feel successful. LAST THING: Are you still uploading on IGTV? I like the motivation videos you upload there.

Depends on definition of success, I have heard of “succesful” people applying the first piece of advice and regreting it on their deathbed if not earlier. I recommend dedicating everything to your mission for a while, and then adjusting the balance so you’re still on that mission without overlooking other facets of this one life you’ve got. So for me when I had my back against the wall I followed my passion and hustled full on for a year maybe more, since i’ve been trying to find time for other meaningful things besides my hustle.

That’s what I find interesting about failure. Success is harder to obtain than avoiding failure. When I fail, it hurts for a little bit. But that failure isn’t as big as I portray it. Eventually, I pick myself back up and I find something that works for a minute, and I try to find how I can use that to grind my way to success.

I absolutley LOVE roberto how you explained Lewis's journey!!! I also love how you're number 5 :) you def are a bundle of inspiration! Misfits for life!!! My secret to success is to become as self aware as I can, to have consistency even when nobody is listening or watching, to believe in ultimate patience through hard efforts, and to NEVER GIVE UP on my dreams. I think a lot of people only look at success as a huge following or a lot of money, but to me that is only the cherry on top of the cake, the best success is changing lives, our own personal growth, and the journey.

Love that 6th secret...reminds me of the Apple Think Different "Here's to the misfits". Also I think the real secret to KZbin success is like you say and demonstrate, and I'm see this from others such as Dan Lok, Nick Nimmin, video influencers etc, is to focus on producing great, consistent, quality content. Too many of us focus on subscribers and this is something we don't really control. But what we can control is producing 1000 GREAT videos that serve our audience. Thanks for the video man!

Great list Roberto! I think the advice about time is especially important. Something I need to work on. What I learned in my startup journey is that the extra effort to find out what my target audience truly wants is key. And the stress in “truly want” is on the “truly”. It took me a long time to get to the bottom of this but I know that it made my startup. I know because my first startup failed because I missed that part. Cheers, Nico

Also, if you have lots of videos that you want to produce for years to come (depending on your goals), do yourself a favour and plan to batch-produce your content and schedule them as far in advance as possible so you can free yourself more time to dedicate to other things that will help you succeed.

Great video! Im working on all 5 of these secrets but number 6 is the one I'm really trying to grasp! Not settling for mediocrity and allowing myself to stand out without fear of judgement and all the other negatives that can come with being a outcast of sorts.

This video is insanely inspiring. When I was younger, I tried everything I could to fit in, but I couldn't. But because of influencers like you, I realized I wasn't supposed to fit in. Your advice has helped me to grow out of other people's false expectations of me and be my best self. I'm finally able to stop caring about what others think of my videos and start making videos others care about. So thanks Roberto!

People have been keeping a secret from you... infact they have been keeping quite a few. What an introduction Roberto. Bam. I am in the Notification Squad already. It is nice how you always mention friends etc of yours on your videos and lives. This is so True, you cannot get back time that has been lost. My Dad always says Never rest on your laurels... Time is the best one. Being more disciplined. Have a great night Palatine (That is your nick name cause you did the voice during my channel review) ha ha ha just kidding but no seriously excellent Upload Palatine.

Thanks Roberto for another thought provoking video! I believe that the secret to success is to keep showing up. I just need to get started so I can test my hypothesis 😉
