wow this looks so beautiful great work!! if I may ask you something, so i do cross stitch usually but I just bought my first needlepoint project from orchidea collection with dmc floss but i'm not sure how many threads i should i use...i couldn't find any info on it exact it 10CT canvas! :(

So can I use cross-stitch fabric 14c for needlepoint

When you say cross stitch fabric do you mean Aida? You can use the same stitches but it won't look like needlepoint because the weave of the fabric is different (if you are meaning Aida). Canvas is best if you can get it👍

@@SarahHomfrayEmbroidery thanks it is getting hard to find needlepoint specific stores in minnesota so michael is every were so all they cary is cross stitch fabrics thanks for the info and your videos really enjoyed the tambour how to unfortunately the hook I got at amazon is really bad

Sorry, another question. Is it ok to just use an embroidery hoop? Yours seem to be thumb tacked all around.

You can yes, it's harder to get the canvas in a hoop but it will go. I use stretcher bar frames
