@@Aprender_idiomass Hi I'm learning Russian too and I advise you the KZbin channel named "Be fluent in Russian" and especially the listening playlist. There are both Russian and English subtitles, and what you can do is to watch the video a few times (what I usually do is that I listen to it 2 times without subtitles, then 2 times more with Russian ones and finally switch to English) and then open the transcript on the KZbin website (doesn't work on the app), copy and paste both the text and translation in a excel file, print it and learn all the new vocabulary! I really feel like it's helping me a lot to improve, especially as I create flashcards thanks to Anki not to forget anything ;) Hope it'll help

I found an interesting use for Google translate. I was watching a YT video, in English by an Aussie expat, and he uttered a phrase in Spanish that I did not understand. Spanish is my "poor cousin" in language learning as most of my efforts go into learning other foreign languages.

Watch a lot of videos in Portuguese about subjects that interests you, even though you don't understand much at the beggining. Study vocabulary and grammar but keep watching videos (you will realize that little by little you will understand what have been said, even if at the beggining were just few words). An then start to imitate, write small dialogues...

I have always had a love for learning languages, but one of my biggest struggles has been with what languages i need to learn first. I have slowly been getting better with this, and getting myself to understand i CAN learn as many languages as i want, but knowing that i need to start with one or at most, 2 languages. I need to understand that it is a process, and not something that just happens. I wouldnt gain any progress if i tried learning 4 languages at a time, or at least, it would be very slow progress. I learned Italian for 4 years during my high school years, but stopped practicing for many years after. I also learned swedish for about a year, last year, but stopped putting ny focus on that. I still want to learn Italian and Swedish, but i have decided to hold off for a while and instead put my focus on German and Spanish. I have been learning German in university and at home for 6 months now because i love the language, and i learn Spanish at home because many people spesk it where I live. I have been using the Mango language app and it is honestly the absolute best language app i have ever come across. There are tons of languages available on there, and while it is amazing for all levels, it is especially helpful for beginners. I love that you simply listen/read, and repeat. I have noticed my German significantly improve after using this! I plan to pick up Italian and Swedish again after i am at least at a high intermediate level for both Spanish and German. Lina I always look forward to your language videos and I always feel so motivated afterwards! Thank you so much ♡♡♡

@@brigc7755 hahaha i think we are the same in learning languages 😂 unfortunately no matter how bad we want to learn so many different languages, its best to stick with no more than 3 lol. All i know for sure right now is i need to focus on Spanish and learn with my kids, and once i feel really comfortable with that, then i need to decide if i want to pour more time into either Italian, Swedish or German (though i hope to learn all of those eventually). Im leaning towards learning Italian next for emotional reasons but i honestly think German is much more useful and i also like the language. I am so bipolar with learning languages! Lol but i think if i spend a lot of time on one language right now and just a little bit on the other languages i can decide what to do next when the time is right
