Just got myself and my roommate into the game. Grabbed the Fai and Dromai starters and we really enjoyed it. So I got a box of Uprising and a boz of WTR. Got enough stuff to upgrade our decks AND build playable Blitz decks for Dorinthea and Iyslander. It's been a great time!

I played my first game of this on Sunday, wild that this video came out literally a day or two afterwards! I have a Prism blitz deck which has AWESOME looking artwork and some of the players at my FLGS are going to hook me up with some bulk so I can get deck building ASAP.

One thing that’s a pain where I am (Melbourne-AU) is that the LGSs don’t run Blitz as a regular format. Classic constructed and draft seem to overpower the of formats… Anyway, thanks for your amazing content! Cheers

Living Legend only applies to the format that they hit LL in - so in Prism's case it will *only* be for Classic Constructed. You can play her in any other format! :D

I tried to get one of those Ira decks. The LGS said that LLS told them they could only give them out during a starter event. That bummed me out a little bit, but I got a hold of a few blitz decks to play with a friend.

I've been checking out this game for a while now and I think I'm ready to dive in. I love opening packs and just discovering what I have and I love the F&B foils so I think that even though everyone recommends blitz packs I'm going to grab some booster packs instead.

Blitz decks are perfect for learning the game and trying out the respective heroes. After you find the heroes you like, then you can buy the booster boxes that support them. If you wanna just go head-first and have the money, then boxes are a good option. Tales of Aria is a great set and all 3 heroes are good, it just depends on if you like their playstyles or not :)

Hi Red Zone! I'm yet to get into this game but I'd love to introduce it to my friends at our next magic night and my LGS has stuff from all the sets available, but I'm still left wondering a few questions that none of the videos I've found have helped with. Are Heroes from different sets cross compatible? Like, can If I've got an old set Hero, can my opponent be using like Fai or something? And if so, will the old player get totally left in the dust?

Yes! You can play any hero vs any hero so long as they haven't achieved Living Legend (its a way to retire heros that have won alot). No! Old heroes can be quite strong!

Thanks for the video! I heard about flesh and blood a week ago and I've been watching so many videos on it haha. I'm going to a night at my lgs on Sunday and planning on picking up some cards! After watching this I'm learning towards a box of dynasty and a box of uprising and seeing where I end up from there! Maybe a dromai blitz deck because she seems like fun. Would you say that's a good place to start with the new set coming out only having one hero who seems quite tough go build a deck for? Would you recommend even buying a box of dynasty? I want to make sure I'm positioned well enough to have some fun!

Dynasty is the same at the other supplemental/expansion sets that I mention in this video - it's good support for EVERY class but no real focus on any - EXCEPT the new Assassin class. So unless you want assassin specifically I'd go with something like Uprising (Dromai/Fai/Iyslander) :D Welcome to the game and community!!

Yes! The FAB scene is great here. I personally go to Discs & Dice and Goin Gaming. There's also Mox Boarding House, Fabled Hobby and Portland Game Store!! I've personally met the owners of all of them (except Mox) and they're all great dudes 👍

At the absolute most competitive levels you can't get around it. However there are budget options for many pieces as well as formats such as Commoner where you only use common cards. Keep in mind for FAB that it doesn't rotate and you only ever need 1 piece of any given equipment so it's something you can trade up to for the expensive ones

I was always annoyed by banning cards (achieving living legends status as they call it in this game...). I got / bought a card and now I can't use it anymore because someone said it's too OP, or too many people are playing it etc...

Living Legend only happens when a hero wins so much that they get enough points. Straight up banning is separate from that 😅

That's not true, even the heroes that hit Living Legend can still be played in other formats - just not the one that they achieved LL in. Ex. Chane and Prism are LL in Classic Constructed but can still be played in Blitz
