The legal process po will be done if galing kayong Pilipinas. It will be different and a lot more easier if you do not go home from the Philippines, and you decide to just come from Thailand po. Its just that hindi po kayo documented na OFW sa POEA.

Cher, how about traveling from Thailand to Vietnam do I still need to process those documents like entry permit , oec, etc.?

If you are travelling for work po, honestly no. You will process everything pag nasa VN na kayo, however you will be considered an undocumented ofw in VN, unless you go home and process it legally. hehe

Hi, is entry permit similar to approval letter? That's what my employer is going to give me so I can process the business visa.

Yung entry permit po ninyu ang gagamitin para makakuha ng business visa sa Vietnam Embassy sa Manila. :)

It is not the same in the US po. Cultural Exhange po kasi sa US, so you can bring your fam and let them stay with you. Sa Vietnam po they can come as tourist but they have to be back sa Pinas after ma expire ang tourist visa nla which is 29 days. Hope this helps.

The best time is if you already have an appointment with the POEA to get your OEC. In my case, my employer booked my ticket right after I got my OEC. Hope this helps

Totoo po na may mga scam. Khit saan country po. You can try sa mga fb pages. A lot of teaching opportunities and vacancies are there. Then try nyo po e research ang tungkol sa school to avoid na ma scam.

Hi teach. I got an employment offer to work there we had an agreement with the employer that I would shoulder the expenses of the business visa and they would reimburse me after my contract (stated in the contract as well). Now, the employer is tied up with an agency Vietnam Teaching Jobs ( I checked their website, FB page, and YT channel) they wanted me to send the necessary payments for the processing of the business permit and once it's done I just need to go to VN embassy in manila for visa stamp. Is this normal? I'm a bit hesitant but I double checked the agency and the school and they've been in the business for a decade.

Hi! The process will be different po since you will be processing with an agency. The steps i have shared is for direct hire po, and since your school has affiliated agency, and you are a bit hesitant, the best thing to do po is to check it with POEA, you can email them. they have the list of agencies they honor. Hope this helps.

Yes po they are different things. Yung entry permit po is gagamitin sa pag process nninyu sa embassy sa Manila, while the invitation letter is if mag tourist kayo and you were invited.

Once you get here po, they can process for your work visa and working permit.
