Aging is the motivation to slow-living. I grew up before cell phones and home computers and gaming systems, things that keep people glued to a screen. I’m trying to find my way back. ❤️

I completely get what you mean - I'm a 90s child so I still spent my childhood and teenage years without smartphones. And even though I love technology and use it a lot, it was a slower life back then that allowed us to disconnect sometimes. Thanks for watching ❤️

My motivation for slow living is simply that I feel too overwhelmed by the pace of modern day life, there's little time to stop and enjoy the short time we live in this earth. Even something as simple as being in the moment as leaves blow across the garden can change one's entire day for the better! 😊

I feel learning about slow life will help to keep the mind and physical body's motion and capabilities at an equilibrium because the mind races faster then actions and capabilities of one self. Which causes anxiety headaches and tension and anger and irritation.

Yes, I think many of us feel as if our mind is racing and our body can't quite keep up. Slowing down our life can really be a game changer ✨

I have been there once and for sure I want to visit again. But my absolute favorite place from Spain, is Barcelona by far ( already been there 4 times 🙃). Have you ever been there? Okay okay, not calling the police! 😂 Thanks for being here - it makes me so happy ❤️ Yes, I've been to Barcelona in 2018 and it was very beautiful! Unfortunately I was there for a conference and didn't get to see as much but I still had some time to explore and loved it! What are your favorite things to do and see there? I'll take note for my next visit 😊

@@livelikeliz I think I can talk hours for Barcelona and where you have to go and what you can do to have a good time, but I must control myself 😅I don't know what you managed to see when you were there, but just to name a few places that is a must to visit : first something that you will like a lot is the Gothic Quarter ( the historic center of the old city ), there you will see a lot of medieval landmarks 😁 next is of course Las Ramblas the most busiest street in the center of the city but there I think is only one place that is worthy to visit ( one of my favorites ) that is Boqueria Market, there you can taste and smell every traditional Catalan flavor from local producers, another place is Sagrada Familia the big old historic church, another one is the castle of the Montjuic that you can go there by teleferic and you can have the best view of the city. I must admit that I described what I did in my first visit there! 😅 This is just a few well known places when you can officially visit Barcelona with a lot of free time ( maybe you have been in some of them ). When and if you will go, feel free to ask me again so I can give you some hints/tips for some not so well known places that is worthy to visit and also for some good places with very good food! 😉 Sorry for the long message! 🙃
