You need to coach in a rec. League and those parents see how good you are as a coach they will want you training there child. Plus you will get a lot of emails every year.

Hey man! We have our contract setup for the coaches we help in our program. Ideally you want to set the terms of HOW LONG your clients must be committed - from there, you setup the payment where it's recurring monthly or it's an upfront payment for 3 mo, 6 mo, or 12 months. You'll also want to have a 30 day cancellation notice so your clients let you know when they are cancelling so you have time to replace them with a new client. Hope this helps! Yes, anyone can acquire that. I would advise you to not wait though. Too many coaches wait on stuff like that before they start their business. Legally start the business first then attack that ✅

hey how's it going, I'm a pretty good basketball player who knows the game Very well and have a 8 year old son I've been very engaged in coaching over the past 4 or 5 months, I've watched him transform and it kind of got me thinking maybe coaching will give me the flexibility to not only continue to guide him in the right direction but also help the surrounding youth make similar leaps and bounds... You provide lot's of insight in the vid but one question I have is how does one go about having insurance and things of that nature to safely run a coaching business or is that not a thing??

Start an LLC (either pay an attorney to help you do that) or go to a site like legalzoom.com to set it up for yourself. If you need permits- you'll need to go to the city to do that.
