How to start your car when immobiliser has engaged (read description)

This is steps on How to start your car if the immobiliser has engaged, This demonstration is on a 2001 renault clio grande | Step 1 : put key in then ignition and turn to position 1 then to position 2. Step 2 : when in position 2 make sure the red light in the centre of the dashboard is flashing rapidly. Step 3 : while holding the central locking button on the key turn to position 1 then back to position 2. This should stop the the light flashing and should just stay on constantly, you can now start your engine and be on your way , please like ,share and subscribe

Hi there, i found an other solution while looking for the same problem on my Ford Galaxy 2 2009 1.8 TDCI, solution is to unplug the + of the battery for 30min (watch out the alarm won't agree with this), then plug it back and just try to start the engine back. It work perfectly for me. Thank you for your solution, there is no few people that helps on this. Thanks Josh ! It did work, my Jaguar S-Type was sitting since the SCAMDEMIC started In April 2020. I had some led headlamps put in and my RED LIGHT OF DEATH came on. I called the imbeciles to tell them I got the warning of shut down and they said not their problem. It worked and it started like a new car! However when I shut it off it went back into immobilizer mode again. But hey I know its fine and I was able to get it off my grass and move it to my front driveway. I tried again and it won't start but hey thanks still. I will play with it again later. Thanks it was nice to take her for a drive!

I think it just worked on my nissan maxima '96. The immobiliser fob works intermittently. I'll try it a few more times when it's playing up, but I think you may well be a life saver. Thank you!

It said that immobiliser or a start-up blocking mechanism was on and it wouldn't even try to start the engine. This trick seems to be universal in car industry that works on multiple platforms.

Whenever you press the center button and turn off and on again, did you still press the button down at ON position till immo red light turns off, or after turning to ON, you take your finger from the button? this trick I accidentally discovered on trying to bypass my immobilizer issue on my volkswagen passat 1.8 Turbo the immobilizer because whenever I unplug any socket on this car even as simple as headlight socket it will immobilize the car result into crank no start only. What I did is I put it in ON position then press the keyfob while turning it off the ON again then release my finger on the button then it will fire up. Engine will start. You can try both the release before ignition or keep pressing all the way turning the ignition whichever works.

hi mine is 2001 megane cabriolet, today i made a mistake,that while i reconnect the battery i connected wrong way.straight away there was a spark from the battery terminal and the in a fraction of seconds i removed the wire. then i connected the right way and tried to start the car, the car did not want to start up.it still carnking but not starting. checked all the fuses all are looks fine. NOTICED THAT THERE IS NO IMMOBILISER LIGHT,WHICH SUPPOSE TO BLINK. all other things are functional including the instrumental cluster. please help me. thanks

Sony k joseph cabrio does have immobilizer but it seperate from the instrument cluster. it is a seperate black box. either get ur ecu reflashed for an immobilizer delete, or have someone come vith a vag com and computer and recode for new keys. u could also go to the stealer and waste your time and money.

If u really think this work, please do a video with a plain key that has no transponder on the key I bet it won't work....the only reason why this work is because since u played with the key around the ignition that's has the chip, once it align right it has detect the correct transponder and yeas it will work then!!!
