Thanks you’ve solved a temporary problem buddy as my cord snapped and I replaced it but then I messed around and now the coil spring isn’t coiled and given up trying to recoil the most annoying thing ever 😂 but need it this weekend 👍

I'm still doing it this way! It runs well and doesn't die on me, so I only have to do it once.

Same exactly problem for me 😂😂 gonna try this tomorrow

is it necessary to buy some parts in order to be able to do this, or is it possible to do this even while everything is factory, and was the spindle turned to be envious or unenviable

No, the part that I put the 10mm socket on is the broken part from the pull start.

What's a good drill that could start a Stihl fs56 weed eater ?
@MicahMartinDIY6 ай бұрын
I just use my 12v Milwaukee.

@@MicahMartinDIY I tried to use my 12volt black and Decker drill but it was barely able to crank it honestly gonna have to get something a little more powerful thinking of a dck 21v with a much higher rpm of 2,000 rpm and like 530+ lbs torque hopefully it will start it up smh because I'm tired of yanking my brains out trying to start it up smh

I don’t have a bolt on mine . Just the shaft 🤦🏼

Oh man! The end of the shaft on mine is threaded.

brilliant backup plan. though why not screw a nut instead. this way you won't have to carry that thing around when you need to drillstart again.
@MicahMartinDIY7 ай бұрын
Very true! But I have it tuned well, so it's stay running the whole time.

"I'm gonna pump the bulb 10 times like it recommends in the starting instructions" And then he pumps it 18.....

10 is a minimum. You can't over prime it. It's to get the air out of the fuel lines. Any additional fuel goes back into the tank.

I wouldn't recommend this as it broke my crank rod so use with caution

Oh dang. Yes, I only use a small 12v drill to crank mine.

eng will burn up with allll covers not in place in 5 min. if you dont have batt. drill in your yard you need a 100 ft ext.. cord if it stalls????
@MicahMartinDIY Жыл бұрын
I don’t understand your logic. If anything it will run cooler without the covers on it. Also, if you tune it correctly, it won’t stall. My doesn’t. I ran this trimmer for 2.5 hours constantly after making the video and it did fine. Refilled the gas tank 3x without ever shutting it off.

those covers are on there to direct cool air the hot spots!! i have worked on eng .where shields were not in place now the engs. are junk!!! the builders would not use them if not needed. 65 years as mechanic on every thing from A 4 jets tanks mowers farm machines weed eaters boat motors i know what i am talking about...

@jimthompson3030 then why are you on this tutorial video?

No idea why they were here I'm here because of the algorithm after searching for parts to retrofit an actual permanent electric starter because there's no official way to do it on mine. Probably something similar
