In this week's video, I set up and show in more detail how to startup and use the Multiplaz 3500 Plasma tool. I show you how to mix the water and alcohol mixture, fill the torches and weld and cut metal as well as melt a hole in a ceramic tile.
This machine is a plasma welder and plasma cutter in one. It uses a water and alcohol mix (50/50 or 60/40 % depending on the type of metal you are welding) to weld and only water to plasma cut. It does not require an air compressor or extra CO2 bottles and can run on 220 or 110 VAC power.
The main reason I wanted this tool is that I hate welding helmets. Although the light from welding with the Multiplaz 3500 is sharp, it is not as intense as arc, tungsten, or MIG welding, and a pair of gas welding goggles or dark glasses are sufficient.
Another great advantage is that it can weld difficult metals like Bronze, Aluminium, Cast Iron, and copper with ease. It is compact and lightweight and can be taken to any job site with ease. You can also do the following with the Multiplaz.
-Clean rust off metal
-Cut ceramic tiles
-Weld plastic
-Heat and melt thick steel
-Melt metals together without additional filler rod
-Weld in extreme wet and cold environments
-Weld and cut in outer space (That is what this tool was actually originally designed for)

If you are in South Africa and want a free demonstration and prices you can contact Francois Steyn from Kladifam Trading on Whatsapp 0829053305 to arrange an appointment. He also gives training in operating the Multiplaz.
He was the person that supplied and trained me and I can recommend him.
In the next coming weeks, I will do more videos on welding and cutting different materials, and review this tool in more detail.
Thank you for watching!
