Currently in my last year and i can honestly say that i dont care anymore, i just want a month long vacation. You are right, putting too much on your plate is the worse thing you can do in this program and if you can atleast find one person who thinks like you and is feeling the same way...the whole miserable experience feels alot better. Thanks for the video needed it.

Male nursing student here. I graduate in 5 months, but I'm burnt out with my program and the nurses at my current hospital. Love the first three tips: eye on the prize, don't put too much on your plate, and simply try to have fun. Thank you!

I came across this video after watching one of your ABG videos. It is SO what I needed today. I've been feeling so burned out lately. I'm about to share this video with my fellow students.

+Traci Milton Thanks so much for your comment! I'm glad this video helped you. I know exactly how you feel. Nursing school can be stressful and difficult. It's easy to get burned out. Keep hanging in there! It won't be long until you're out and working as a nurse. Thanks again, and I wish you the very best in nursing school and your future career as a nurse!

Thank you so much for this video! I've subscribed to your channel a few weeks ago and you have helped me SO much. I've been really stressed out lately, trying to keep up with my classes and not fall behind and it's really starting to take a toll on me. I haven't gotten proper sleep in a few weeks now and it's just getting worst. But because I watched this video, it's encouraging me to not be so hard on myself, that I should take a break. All I do is study, study, study..(all day, everyday). Now I know that I need to take care of me.

+Rachy dolly You're welcome. Yes, it is easy to get so wrapped up in nursing school that you forget to have fun and take care of yourself. I hope you are able to take a break and get some rest and leisure. Hang in there! You'll be a nurse before you know it. Thanks for comment and for subscribing!

Exactly... Couldn't agree more! I also encourage anyone to push towards your BSN or MSN (as hard as it may seem!!) as more and more of the magnet hospitals (and even more rural organizatons) are getting more stringent. It of course gives you greater depth in the Nursing field but also carries more weight.
@RegisteredNurseRN8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback and for watching the video! Great advice and you are exactly right....hospitals are getting more stringent.

How did it go? I’m also in an accelerated nursing program and feeling extreme burn out in funds/Pharmocology. Ever since I graduated high school and started at junior college I haven’t had a proper break and now I’m like halfway through my first year of nursing school feeling exhausted taking summer nursing classes for my BSN.

I'm starting classes at the junior college this fall I'm nervous because I've never been a smart student that got good grades in high school.
@RegisteredNurseRN8 жыл бұрын
I wish you the best in junior college. The key is to believe in yourself and try your best. I thought high school was boring (especially the material...since it wasn't really nursing related) compared to college. In nursing school, I was interested in the material so it made it easier to study. If being a nurse is your dream and passion you will succeed. You may surprise yourself on how smart you really are. Best wishes!
