Hey, Jake. Watch all your podcasts. Very educational and entertaining. Sonny is the perfect compliment to you. Keep up the good work. And Archie, you are really great online. You should do it more often. (Hint, hint). You know I love ya, brother. Mike from NY

Archie, I have almost exactly the same issues that you have. One of the things that actually works for me so I can initiate action is the 5,4,3,2,1 thing from Mel Robbins. Don’t think about it, count down and blast off, out of bed or out of the chair. It’s not 100% but it works :)

I completely get what you are saying Jake. California is packed with people trying to resell but that doesn’t mean it is impossible to do it here. The only real competition is the people who work harder than you or know more than you. If that is the case work harder or study harder.

You are very transparent, Archie. I am sure this wasn't easy, but this has been helpful for you and others. This is a great starting point for you. Thanks, JRide, for the great advice.

Jake you are exactly on point with regard to sourcing! Folks would rather find excuses than take the time to learn. Learning takes more effort. That's why I sell everything. I do not limit myself to certain departments. Thanks for the video and for speaking the truth. Kathleen

The movie is called "limitless" Also I find it better to do gig work one day then ebay the next. Alternating makes planning easier for me. But my sales are close to covering the bills so I'm almost done with gig work all together.

Archie i feel ya. My house is crazy unorganized deathpilea everywhere. Me and my ex had an ebay account and it was under her social so had to start over back up to 1k items

Stay blunt and to the point with your message. I don't need sunshine and roses. I need solid advice on how to navigate the new business.

Hey Jake I bet you can appreciate this since you like basketball.....so to go along with luck. It's not going to show up at your feet. I always go with my gut, and sometimes spontaneous instinct. Hasn't failed me in 18+ years yet. Anyways I enjoy ripping some sports cards here n there....well I hadn't picked any up for the last 2 seasons. Randomly last week my target had four 23-24 nba prizm monopoly blasters. Figured screw it I'll grab one box. Grabbed one....started to walk away. Went back, and grabbed a different one unconsciously. Get home, and you know if there's a rookie in a prizm pack it will be the back card. So usually I open them up so I won't see the back card. This time I didn't even care. To my suprise I see victor wembanyama head lol...then I seen the numbering. 3/10....neon green from a blaster. It's up on ebay right now for 5k obo. Started at 10k lol but as the season twindles down prices are going down.

I live in rural Pennsylvania. I consider my sourcing excellent. If I tried to only buy current high end items I’d have a different opinion. I can find tons of awesome vintage and antique items with good sell through rates. I think it’s about finding what’s good in the area you’re in and expanding your knowledge. Loved the podcast!
