Another tip could be journal your thoughts. You could create some bookmarks for the good moment days. Revisiting them on bad days helps to realign with your purpose. You get reminded of how temporary thoughts can be

Hello!! I'm from Mexico and I'll apply for my master degree in Economics next year, I already have my bachelor's degree but I take a time to study and be ready for my tests and approve them, I know your videos are more related to PhD students but I think this can ve used for master students like me (in the future). Have a wonderful day. ❤❤❤❤

Great tips! Gotta say the "stealing pet" one worked perfectly for me and indeed it's important to stay connected even when we are down :) Great content, keep it up ^_^

I actually haven’t run out of motivation since I just started my PhD and I’m in my first year. But I notice my energy to study has plummeted and I tend to sleep a lot lately, it makes me feel terrible.

My biggest issue on keep being motivated is that i haven't really figured my long term goal out yet. I'm an undergrad student in electrical engeneering, but honestly, i'm not even sure why i'm doing it. I mean, i really like math, physics, coding and stuff, but i don't know if engeneering would be the right field for me. My friends are always telling me that a more theorical type of career, something towards a researcher, would be the best fit for me, but again, i don't know haha

Thanks Charlotte, it's a very helpful video. I am currently a little burnout due to a failure of my current job and the Covid lockdown. And I am going to a PhD this Faill. I am a little worried that I would have a similar problem during the Phd.
