Some top tips here - sharing online calendars with my other half definitely made life easier, and although I love a pretty paper diary, having everything on my phone/laptop/tablet where I can easily access it makes such a difference. Along the same lines I use evernote pretty much every day - again, pretty notepads are fab, but it's great to be able to look back at your notes wherever you are!

I love having specific days for specific things (not to say that happens every week but I try!). I look up on Google what days/times certain shops are the least busy (example: grocery Tuesday AM) to make it super optimal.

I find making a plan for all our meals for the week on on Sunday and ordering from the store is really practical. As we don't have a car a home delivery is really practical for us when doing big shops, and often ends up being cheaper.

We meal plan in our house. A schedule for food for 4 weeks. Also, we have a pantry that is stocked full of non-perishables that will last us months and a freezer that is chock full. That way you only (almost) ever need to pick up the perishable items for the week.
