I needed to see this today. Today I lost my job. I was forced to resign, I was bullied and harassed at my workplace but I planned to hold out until I found a new job. My company changed the whole system and forced people to leave. I thought I would have a month...nope I have one week. Feeling really down and anxious. I am 19, estranged from parents and support myself financially. I am very lucky to live my boyfriend and be alive, and healthy. Update guys: Thanks for the likes and I found a new job in a nice environment Ahaha further update: I look back on this update and turns out I was tricked the job I got turned sour real quick but it's okay I actually got in touch with a previous employer I was supposed to work with before covid 19 and they want me so I'm with them now I'm not gonna update it anymore now lol

I just feel so unhappy where I live. I live in the middle of nowhere in wales. I wish I could live in a city because then if I woke up early I could actually have something to do and get out. Like yea I have loads of fields to walk around but I have to drive to them because I’m in the middle of a ugly town. Because of Covid I haven’t had driving lessons yet. I just want to try something new and it suck because I might be stuck here forever. I really really want to go to Birmingham university and start my life over. I want to live in a city and study biomedical science. I want to fall in love. I want to spend a year in new york. I want to see the northern lights. I’m gonna come back to this comment in a year, just to see how much progress I have made :)
@ughrowie4 жыл бұрын
Hi there. I stumbled upon your comment. Feeling unhappy especially in times like this is normal than ever. I guess the reason why we feel that way is because we're in quarantine, seems like every day is the same. We see the same things every day. However, one thing I learned from the course I'm taking is savoring the things we have. Whether it is food, article of clothing, anything... it makes us present in the moment, letting our senses feel that thing. It will make us feel better and look forward for certain things, like what you want in your life to be in the next few months. If you're feeling unhappy, don't forget to communicate with your friends. Do something that you enjoy or you can learn something new. You don't have to be good at it immediately, learning is a process that you can track your progress with. Same with our goals. Start small and work towards the big things. I suggest writing your comment as a journal prompt. Narrate each sentence you wrote and make a story based on how you see yourself in it. You'll be surprised once you look back that you've accomplished those things written. I hope you feel better. Things may seem tough right now but you're tougher. :)

I’ve been struggling with a bad mental state for a few years now. Especially the last couple months have been wild. I’ve suffered from OCD, which made me damage my skin (which I know may sound a bit weird, like I am the one doing it to myself you’d say, but the OCD can really get in control). Now I’m finally starting to get slightly better day by day, but today and yesterday I had a huge relapse.... Especially my arms and face look like a mess, and I’m really scared it might lead to skin deseases later on😓 I feel really alone in this, but to anyone out there dealing with OCD, I’m with you & I know it’s an exhausting battle to overcome.🙏🏻

I have had OCD for a few years now I can tell you it does get better. I used to wash my hands all the time and cry because I didn’t want to do it but I just felt like I had to but now I can resist the compulsion even when it gets really bad. Everyone’s journey is different but just know that you can do it. I am in no way OCD free yet but I understand how much it can control your life and stop you doing things you want to sometimes. I did have therapy for it but I found that after a while it didn’t really help anymore and it’s something I’d rather do by myself. You can do this and one day you will look back and recognise how much you have grown and facing this will make you stronger. Just know that everything happens for a reason and you are not alone ❤️❤️

“We’re not promised more days. We all act as if we have all the time in the world.” -Jade. This is something we all need to remember sometimes. Before this lockdown, I thought I lived every day by the quote ‘Live as you were to die tomorrow. Learn as you were to live forever’ but I really didn’t. It took this time for me to realise it though! People would constantly say, ‘you never know what’s around the corner” and it’s sooo true, because me dancing in my school’s Christmas ball in 2019 was definitely not thinking that it would be my last every dance with the people in my year. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the night, but there are soooo many things I would do differently, if I only knew. You can’t take things for granted 🦋💜🌼. Your videos are so inspiring Jade. Thank you so much x

Thank you, thank you, Jade! for having the courage to share your thoughts with the world. I loved how you talked about how you wish you could just escape into nature and like live off the land without any social media, I have thought about this so much and it feels amazing to know that someone else also thinks about that, haha. I don't know how to put into words how you have inspired me and how much I look up to you, but thanks xx

Hi this vid was so good and valuable, so nice to see real when so much is fake. It is also mad that your morning looked ‘perfect’ and you couldve just put the vid out w/o talking abt how you were feeling and weveryone wouldve assumed that you were having a great day
