$500. ?? I wish. Mine just got stolen 2 weeks ago from Costco 2015 Tacoma TRD SPORT, talk about PISSED ! Local dealership told me $2,500 minimum and have to order all the parts. Thank you for the vid. I have watched the videos where they install a hose clamp which always seemed a little cheesy to me. This devise has a little beef to it and looks like a better install. This devise and locks in general are not intended to stop entry they are intended to delay entry which helps protect your property. Thieves want quick and dirty so this devise is likely to save you from a significant purchase of a new tailgate. Upon installation you could also add thread locking compound to further delay entry. You all won't listen, will you? Apparently tacomaholic actually did and then again ..... maybe not. Another product promo push that's an unfinished product, requiring more time and materials including the proper tools for completion, Skills level not factored in, then your ready to Go! Now that that's done you can Go get started with your install, .... I mean Mod. Everything today is called a Mod. Because it is and who knows other words anymore anyway. So here we Go. Air up your compressor so you can start. Because your not a professional incredible folk with green horns, your green horns, have different neutrals but not colours...... Especially green, unless you are barf sick for some reason, but last time I know from just the facts, white & black don't just make up grey areas, there's all kinds of shades you can make with neutrals. But that's not a colour and I'm just a regular ol' old, old school average simple man, man. You know, just like you, ...... Of your just like what I was just talking about. So let's get going here now that we're cleared up taco mugging. So here's how not to get Swamped and have your tail gate bogged out. You take: quantity _2_ of a whole ready to use, in its entirety, single Washers. And a star socket bit incase you don't have a neighbor to borrow it forever from or return filthy and trashed because of not having one already and couldn't probably afford something like that and would almost never use like you do your daily Starbucks, or more other essentials likes more smokes and drinking alcoholic drugs or whatever you call it .......beverage ..... that's more refreshingly intriguing odour Unbolt the little post thinggies, put your correctly, pre measured washer , over the post thing and the tailgate cord end of the thinggie that's over the post thingy And fits over the quick release enough to not be removed from the quick release functions and bolt back in place and if you good, you don't need lucky. Have a lucky Day. Note , if preferred, you may apply a primer and or paint with primer or any other compatible coating or Finnish of your desire , prior to the installation process and after the allowed cure time has been successfully reached according to your applications specifications Your installation is now complete and your eyes can take a break from watching your rear end from being taken

I'm just funnin. Since I became an alcoholic quitter, I have fun with the comedy of when I was a excellent functioning 20 bottle a day beerholic and all the tools I own including enough to be my own mechanic for the family , all my neighbor and various other people throughout the years always being that kind of person who does that kind of thing. You know the kind. They are a wreck and your organized, clean, and actually have some decent tools finally and proud of it . Then you'll be out working on your ride , not broke down worryking , but the usual improvement, modification, or regularly scheduled maintenance (something that makes them scratch their head with one finger while their fist doesn't move staying in the same position and they have that look on their face like if they were trying to figure out of that's a fart they are smelling or if it is a fart and if it was there's and maybe they should go to check and see if they might have popped a little Look) And then they come up and lean on your truck and ax you a question, ¿ Uh ,....... Whatcha doin? Need any "help"? Let me know if you need anything, I'll be right where I always am kind of a deal And your like, oh Mann, does it have to be Every Friggin time? Belly buster's 1992 nissan Sentra has been broke down for how long now‽ What does he think? I might need to borrow a tool? Does belly buster even own a tool? Screwdriver, other than booze screwdriver, adjustable wrench or anything? These guys man ...... I tell ya ! And then when they finally leave you can go back to minding your own that apparently they didn't notice while you were wrenching on your truck (running, with no dings or scratches, newer, and registered including insured) and you didn't look up once . Then you repeat again like always, what is it that they'll just never get? Really? Then you take a deep breath , sigh, and carry on The good ol'days. When I was a functional alkie shaking my head at the soused out drunken boozers Other than that,. Cool product, it beats the alternative lock thing that you can't just go buy you can watch a video about it but have good luck trying to find one anywhere in town. I think master lock and a couple others. That's why I just put on the perfect size washers and if they want to come and take my tailgate after unscrewing it with the exact stardriver to unbolt it , not be eaten by the dogs and Scape the artillery borage, they can have it and I'll have to live with it I do think that the part you installed should have at least been primes or rust treated if no painting was a preference Hookem Horns tacomaholic! Your almost out of things to do on this here build. I'm waiting to see the brand spanking new stock rocker video teaser at any moment for the last few months now.
