A small correction to what I said: - the bankruptcy declaration of Jor Law did list Scott Purcell as the CEO of Prime Trust until August 2021. - in January 2021 (the same month they started sending assets to the legacy wallet) Purcell changed from CEO of Prime Trust to CEO of Prime Core the holding technology. - he was out by August, and the ether shortfall was supposedly not discovered until December

Solid video! When your company does stuff that is too shady for even Nevada, then you know you've thrown your morality onto the floor and lit it on fire.

I do get why the regulators allowed the round. If it is properly disclosed those who take risks in things like distressed assets as a class may be interested. Also if they pull it off it is less bother to a probably already stretched regulator and if they fail they have a massive show of good faith to show the bankruptcy judge/inevitable lawsuit that will also make their life easier....also may have just been they knew it would take until X date to get the regulatory wheels turning (office may be swamped, bureaucratic nonsense, needed to know who was going to be appointed head of office, someone needed a cert redone and that's when training ended, whatever) and told PRIME they had to close before X but were welcome to try until then. Also this is my second favorite version of Cascoin..absolute hoot

When Cas believes regulators failed to protect big VCs, you know regulators suck!!! I believe regulators are overwhelmed by the number of coins & services in support of these coin operations. So the regulators are letting the market failure point out the problems. Don’t you just love free market capitalism🥴

Idiots for some reason ignored the necessary regulations of the financial industry built up over the years to protect the investor favored an unregulated free for all. You can't get any dumber than that.

Was putting money into anchor an attempt to cover the shortfall, or just a way to generate income off of the money they were holding?

Man I feel lucky here. Had 30k with them through compass mining. Converted it all to BTC before this blew up but it was good luck rather than good management.

BTC was never created as an alternative to the banking system. Satoshi also does not exist. Once you piece those 2 things together, it becomes very obvious where BTC came from

Some people believe Bitcoin was created by CIA/NSA, or similar, and I’m guessing that’s what this is an allusion to
