OMG! I’m so glad I found your post! I’m new to steaming. Found a steamer at a garage sale and never used it. So today was my day. I wanted to steam a shirt plus a New jogging suit. Thanks for the tips 💜

Using mini serving tongs work great instead of a peg which if you squeeze releases garment where as the tong you can grip tighter and move from area to area quickly.

Amazon does give her something. Affiliate payments. This is nothing but a commercial. Try steaming anything heavier than a t-shirt and that steamer isn't nearly as impressive. Hang those in the bathroom while you're showering and get the same results!

I used my handheld steamer today for the first time in -ages when using wrinkle release spray didn’t remove the wrinkles in sweaters that have been stored. I’ve always moved the head from top to bottom, but found if I started at the bottom and moved up slowly, it gave the steam time to perpetrate and then the head kinda smoothed out the fabric. Using the clip to hold the edges is a great idea.

Great video, I have the Jiffy pro steamer which is not about 5 years old and going excellent and that is the thing that is most important for me, I made a big investment but it has paid off. I use it for my family laundry, and other items as well. The clip is a great idea, I would just be concerned with some finer fabrics, which is why I did purchase the gloves from Jiffy I believe that are heatproof for steaming, they have saved my fingers !!! Also, the board for collars is a great idea especially if it is not 2 layered fabric which is troublesome no matter what, for that, I use upward motions with the steamer head to get out those tiny wrinkle lines. Great job with the video and tips !!!

You are so full of amazing information, Love your vids so much!!

A couple other advantages to steaming over ironing and washing or dry cleaning. You won’t burn the garment... ...and you can reduce fabric damage from excessive exposure to the dry cleaning chemicals. The heat of the steam will sanitize...

Hi Jenna! I came across your channel a few days ago and have been hooked. Your videos are great! Thank you for taking the time to give us so many useful tips! I am a part-time Poshmark seller. So, all the information you have provided has been extremely helpful. In case you are thinking of new video content, there are two topics that I would love to see a video on in the future! First, similar to your video on jean brands, I would love to see a video on band/concert/festival T-shirt and Tank brands to look out for when thrifting. This is definitely one category where my Posh closet is lacking. Second, I would love to see a video addressing what you do when items DON'T sell. I struggle with gauging when it is time to let go of a listing that just won't sell. How long is too long when it comes to hanging on to items? Thank you again! And thank you in advance, if you choose to produce either of my video suggestions! Best, Yuliya

Hi ibask this question before but i can't find it. I just want to know if you just use distilled water all the time ? I still have the steamer getting clogged. I tried boiling the water adding vineger but none work. Because the steamer uses a lot of water. Buying. Distilled gallons can get exspensive.

Great Jenna! I'm off for a little cutting board later. One thing though; I find residual fragrance to be problematic, those chemicals are unregulated and can be toxic. Have debated whether I can continue reselling with exposure to heavy dryer sheet scents, especially during the steaming process. Personally not a fan of adding any fragrances and believe fragrance-free will be preferred in the future. It's a mask IMO.

Ugh, yes, heavy dryer sheet scent makes me gag and irritates my skin! I see people saying they tuck dryer sheets in their inventory boxes sometimes and I would be so annoyed if I ever got anything from them haha. This spray seems different than that, though. Just a one note, natural scent that's probably just lavender oil (hopefully).
