Hi - I just used my jiffy steamer for the first time today & was wondering about the water that collects under the water tank, when you're done and pull out the tank to empty it. I guess this is supposed to happen, but is it ok to leave it there? Thank you for any insight you have & thank you for the video!

Thank you for showing how the steamer works. I am definitely going to check out this brand. I went to look at them at the store, and came home with a new vacuum cleaner instead. I just didn't know anybody who had used a steamer. So, thanks again. It looks like it works really well. One of the Pleione tunics I got from Nordstrom came to me extremely wrinkled. I need to practice on that!

Hi Wendy! I did a ton of research on steamers and found that people only really LOVE them if they are commercial grade steamers. The middle of the road steamers apparently perform well at first, but then have problems. Took me awhile to fork over the money for a great one....but so glad I did! It's actually quite fun and satisfying to unwrinkle things!! Ha! I plan to have this steamer forever and pass it down to my daughters (whoever wants to grab it after my funeral...) Ha!

Yes, I'd rather fork out the money for a really good one. Thank you for doing your research!

Hold it upright only so that the condensation goes back into the steamer and not into the clothes which makes the steam ineffective

Hi! Thanks for the video. Is yours still working? Also, how did you clean your steamer? Thanks!

for home use in 2021 is this necessary? most dryers have a refresh or wrinkle care setting that uses steam.

Hi Jennifer! Did you steamer constantly making bubbling noise?
@jaym5938 Жыл бұрын
You would think because the head is 'so darned hot' that Jiffy could put a thumb/finger guard at the end of the wooden grip to prevent burns. *Shrug*

Hi Jennifer, just wondering how many minutes did it take for the steam to begin partially then fully producing from the time you flipped the on switch? So I guess I'm asking for two different times :). Thank you so much!

This was great video! I've been looking for another steamer. I have a handheld that I'm not crazy about. Thanks for the demo!
@JustJennifer8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have read a ton of info and found out that most people are not crazy about their steamers, unless it is a commercial grade (best of the best) kind of steamer. I was unwilling to fork out the money for the Jiffy for so long, but am glad I finally did. Having a really good steamer makes all the difference, and I plan to have it forever (and pass it down to whichever girl wins the fight for it!! Ha!)

Thank you so much for the review how does it work with jeans?
@JustJennifer7 жыл бұрын
It works wonderfully on jeans! Just sweep the wand down wrinkly jeans a bit slower, and the they look great!

Any updates on your steamer? Still loving it? Some negative reviews about leaking and other misc things - most items have some negative reviews. So, just wondering how it's held up over time. Thanks so much. Very helpful video:)

Did a great job! I am gonna give it a look. BTW, I went into Sephora here at the Millenia Mall yesterday and the Bite cosmetic area was in such a mess with smushed lipsticks and pencils (I couldn't believe the mess) that I just could not sample any of the colors. I will have to order from the website. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks! I have been steaming everything that doesn't run away from me...it's actually quite fun and satisfying! My Sephora was the same way!! Looked like a roving band of wild hyenas attacked the Bite section. Why is that? Sheesh! Hopefully you can get some color ideas from my swatches and that it works out for you! :)

did you find that it quicker than the iron? I hate ironing too!

Yes! Quicker and more fun. (But you can't do sharp creases....just get the wrinkles out...) I love it!!!

Can you believe you've waited this long to get a steamer?!! I bought one this year too and love it, can't figure why it took me 30 years of married life before I did. I really like it for my light weight sweaters/cardigans that always get all wrinkled in a drawer or even just from hanging in the closet. Have fun steaming!! --Anne

I feel the same way now....WHY did I wait this long?? Amazing how a person can despise ironing but enjoy steaming. Ha!! Who knew? :)

lol, it sort of looked fun, I don't know, I'll probably stick with my Rowenta irons, they really put out lots of steam.
@JustJennifer8 жыл бұрын
I had a Rowenta for years, and they certainly do put out a bunch of steam!! Mine kept having dripping problems, though. Left water drip spots all over the clothes. I must have gotten a bad one. I have a good friend who loves her Rowenta and has never had a dripping problem. Glad you are loving yours! :)
@cynthia60558 жыл бұрын
Wow, no a drippy Rowenta wouldn't be good......I have 2 and haven't had that yet, hope never. Enjoy your steamer. Steam away! lol.

Why would you try it on a thin silky shirt 🙄. Any cheap portable steamer could have handled that. Should have tried it on a thick shirt like a cotton oxford dress shirt or drapes- cheap steamers struggle with those.
@JustJennifer6 жыл бұрын
Actually, the grey shirt is a 100% cotton, thicker than it looks on camera, shirt that is a wrinkle festival and is hard to iron. Sorry for the confusion. No need to roll your eyes... Thanks for watching.
