I got a steamer myself, but couldn't find any instructions how to use it most efficiently, so this was very helpful.

Hello there!! I came across this video on accident. Actually, it's the other way around. I just bought a steamer over the weekend, STEAMFAST, and just looked at the box. Lol. I decided to put it together and give it a try. Well, I just "looked," at the instructions and had no idea where to begin. Googled the instructions for this steamer. Well, the video wasn't such a big help. So I read the instructions and got it.👍🏽Well, I was getting ready to close out that video and your video popped up. 😊😊👍🏽So, before I did anything else, I decided to watch and am very pleased to say, I am so glad I did! You were very thorough and went step by step. Even if it meant, just telling what the hangers do and why. Thank you for mentioning, why regular water should not be used. I was getting ready to use the tap water. Thank goodness, your video made it's way to me. Lol... now, I know what to do and how to steam. BTW, I most certainly like your steamer over mine. Because, #1, my steamer does NOT have a or any water line or amount 😔, #2, my hanger on top does not swivel, #3, there is no pause, and #4, no control over the steam like yours. So, with that said, thank you again for the helpful video.

I prefer to use over-the-door hooks you can get at the dollar store so you don't have to stoop. Or use a milk crate to raise the unit. I found an easy way to do shirt sleeves; With the shirt's FRONT facing you, pull (hold) the sleeve across the chest so that the BACK of the sleeve is facing you. Steam that then repeat for the other side. This is a great way to finish the sides as well!

I was the same way when I first got mine! I would probably start steaming cotton and some of the more common fabrics first. Then once you get the hang of it maybe venture into doing silk or wool! 🥰

Hello! I just found your videos and I was wondering if it's ok or not to steam fur (rabbit fur in this case). It's on the collar and the cuffs of a top I found. The blouse part is wool. Thanks for this video, I just set up my steamer and I got scared and turned it off. I don't think I put enough water. I'll try again tomorrow.
@callitfavorposh3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I would steer clear from steaming the rabbit fur. If you absolutely have to I would be super super careful. As far as the wool, I would say if you can I would steam that from the inside out. Just starting out I would make sure the steamer head isn’t on the fabric too long! You can do it! 😊💕

Does steaming get rid of that thrift store smell?

How come you just don't turn the shirt inside out, then steam on outside?

@callitfavorposh3 жыл бұрын
I personally have never tried to steam silk however if you choose to, I would be super careful and hold the steam head pretty far from the fabric.

Again silk is one of those fabrics that really shouldn’t be steamed but if you choose to be VERY careful!

Yeah thanks. Their instructions suck. A silly foldable pamphlet. Pics not help like all instructions of things usually. I can't believe it from a good long lasting type of hair small portable travel dryers brand I like, but the assembly instructions or pics suck. I on my skimmed the reading, wjich doubt helps. It tames a ricket scientist or engender. Gee wiz. I had to figure it myself & 1 piece I still can't figure out & it is not in the pic. Nice nails young woman btw. Pretty. But instructions says bottom to top not top to bottom like you did. So idk. You did it different like I might or would.
