I Have yet to skate but I always wanted to try when I was a kid :) My bf skates and I just bought him a board because he traveled to see me and sadly couldn't fit it in the luggage :( So I wanted to make a surprise for him and bought some stickers to decorate the board with ^^ Can't wait to try this !!

It definitely won’t make your board last any longer. boards go out when your tail gets worn away(razor tail) from stoping on the cement or getting major chips on the edges and sides of the board, causing you to loose pop. Board sliding just makes the paint come off but really doesn’t effect the board’s longevity

You won't necessarily "ruin" the grip tape if you put stickers on it but you will ruin the stickers and your board won't be grippy anymore so I would recommend putting it on the underside

I think a sticker job looks way better when you just use skateboarding companies stickers, not just a random grab bag of 100 of Amazon.
