There was an awesome skateboard design where the graphic was layered to change the more the board got scuffed up. So, for example, a face being scuffed to a skull.

Hey jazza just letting you know a great way to blend posca markers is making sure both colours are nice are still wet then using your finger in between and kinda like smudge it up and down. Hope this helps

You should do this again, but next time use a blank board with no grip or wheels. Then you could make the art less restricted from the wheels. Afterwords you could just add the wheels and grip (it might make for a more custom result)

Skateboard art is a lot like graphic design, you want easy to read, eye catching designs with good overall composition but neat hidden details when you look closely. You want it to be cool to look at on the wall, but also cool to see fly by for a split second during a skate sesh. I'd say job well done on that front. You've got contrast, colour, composition, detail and most important, story.

Those are so beautiful. I just realized that when you are skateboarding, the only thing seeing all that art is the street. I think if I had one that cool, I'd hang it up for decoration. I will admit that at 67, my balance isn't what it used to be. Good luck finding your balance. 😁😁👋👋💖💖

I used to be a skateboarder (I sucked at it tho) and every time I see an art video I want to do it, I still have my old skateboard and now I want to do this (You’re the coolest art KZbinr ever, thank you for the ideas that I will never do) Edit: Pro tip, always get skateboards that fits you’re shoe size because you fit fall off smaller skateboards

I also can't ride a normal skateboard to save my life, and I can *JUST* passably ride a Ripstik, since I own one myself. Don't worry, Jazza! We all know you're cool :) So many of the things you've tried and done are amazing to me, and I admire your persistence in pushing your limits with what mediums you can work with, and I'm always blown away with your results! That young skater got a real treasure from you, hopefully he finds this video and realizes just how cool the skateboard is and just how awesome you are!
