Finally, a man who's willing to go behind the curtain and talk about the things the other videos didn't (in fact some of the videos go out of their way to say 'these are all factory adjustments, don't mess with them') It turns to that those adjustments you mentioned were the ones that eliminated the chattering (big screw / little screw on side). Thank you very much.

My issue was the power screw which is the smaller screw on the right side.. it was slipping it took me many years to figure this out but today I put plumbers tape around it after I cleaned it real good. It's nice and stiff now it will never move again. But taking the Clippers completely apart is a good thing you will quickly learn how it all works together just by looking at it I will suggest getting a headlamp that you can put on your forehead to work on it.

Hey just a tip for people trying to figure out why there clipper is clattering is to make sure you attach both blades to original position, i was testing them without it after adjusting it and it would continue to make noise and after i installed it, it was fine

Thanks alot bro you saved my masters, I took em apart to do a deep clean and when I put everything back in they where clicking like a MF I gave up on them for about a month, turns out it was the cutting blade holder, it was set to far back and it was rubbing against the metal on the masters.. all I did was adjust it and it was good as new !

Thanks man I'ma try to adjust it one more b time and if the problem continues I'm definitely going to try the grit sand paper because I think the fade blade is too sharp
@GarrickWhite9 жыл бұрын
That's the problem the points on the end of the blade is to pointed and sharp because that blade is very thin file the points down a little not to much but continue to do it until you notice it stop snagging the pores and be sure to do the ends on the blade because that's what snag the most
@GarrickWhite9 жыл бұрын
Make sure to round the ends off they're are square now and those points is what doing the snagging

question when you're cutting blades slows down or stop does it mean the tension is 2 much and what can I do to stop it from happening ?
@GarrickWhite7 жыл бұрын
1 timedime. If you have tried tuning it by the small screw on the side with no success, then you'll need to tune all the way. You'll need to take the lid off, next takes some neddle nose pliers and turn the bigger screw on the side in all the way, then turn it one full turn back. After that loosen the tension screw in the clipper but don't take it out. After that use a screwdriver to lift up the magnetic arm from the top of the clipper where the two allen screws at. once you do that turn on the clipper, it'll be be running loud, but start turning the tension screw back in and you'll start hearing the clipper quiet down. Next tune it from the side smaller screw until running full power, put lid back on, oil blade and you're set..

Ci Se a pair of needle nose pliers, what exactly are you trying to do because if you mess with that you'll have to tune the clipper in general, meaning you'll have to reset everything. What's going on with the clipper?

you may have them set a little too close. try dialing that cutter blade back just a hair.
@jesuspizano95147 жыл бұрын
hey garrick, can you help me out? i tried zero gapping my Masters but everytime i open the lever all the way up, the bottom blade sits it an angle and it stays slanted after
@GarrickWhite7 жыл бұрын
make sure the blade is snapped into the fork/tension tightly, when you take the blade off the cutting blade should remain on the fork tightly, if not remove it take a screwdriver place in between the the fork and spread them apart and snap the cutting blade back in place. Let me know if this helps.
@jesuspizano95147 жыл бұрын
Garrick White yeah it snaps in place. Again when i open the lever the bottom blade is slanted. Im positive the top blade is centered
@GarrickWhite7 жыл бұрын
can you shoot a quick video of what it doing and send it through my email garrick.whitesr@gmail.com
@jesuspizano95147 жыл бұрын
Garrick White the file is too big, I'll go ahead and upload it on my channel, I'll shoot u a link when its uploaded... i think i may have fixed it for now like i show in the video but it's happened before where it seems fine but after a couple uses the bottom blade will slightly slant.
