I'm happy + beboppy - or cool, calm and collected - all depending on the day - being myself. I am who I am, and that's that. No faking, no pretending, a certain level of caution about whom I let in; tempered by a whole lot of tongue in cheek humor spiced up with a bit of wicked cheekiness. Take it or leave it. I'm not going to change who I am, to make you happy, or please your neighbors, or your parents [gasp] or kids and grandkids. And I don't expect it from you either - be who you are instead of wasting both of our time to meet each other's "representative" - either we suit, or we don't. And on that note - wishing you all a Very Merry [politically incorrect] Christmas & Happy Holidays! Or if you're having the End of Year Holiday Blahs - a lot of peaceful quiet time, chocolate, ice cream and cheese cake [or whatever floats your boat and makes the time go by faster, easier or survivable], and a stack of good books and/or movies. Just don't hurt yourself - this too shall pass, as it does every year! Hugs to all of you!

I accidentally asked out my neighbor lady, and I'm blaming Carey for 25% of it. 🙃 We always chat when we bump in to each other at end of day pulling into the garage. Sometimes for several minutes. I said, "why don't we have this conversation sometime during the day? Say..." (Whats the least suggestive, romantic thing to offer?) "... coffee?" (Thanks Carey!) Then she says, "well, about that, my husband did divorce me and I moved here, but In the eyes of the Lord we are still married, so that'd be the thing with the opposite sex, I know we're friends." 🤦

I have very nice friend of mine . She is nice quiet person who will never say no to anyone in need. She raised in grate family but her husband is complete asshole and treat her like dirt. She don’t looks like she can say a word . Why people who protect kind sweet attitude get partners who is abusive narcissist ??

The thing that struck me is that we don’t “get” partners we choose them, and then we choose whether or not to stay with them.
