Thank you my man! yeah for sure, getting a mentor is actually one of the few very good ways to catapult your growth, it's like a hack to go faster, if you have someone good who can show you the way, you will save a lot of time wasted trying to figure things out on your own. If you can afford it and can find a good mentor that you like, I highly recommend that!

WaAlaykum Assalam bro! 100%, the best programmers are the best problems solvers. That's who the true codebenders are. Just following tutorials wont get you there unfortunately, they are a good starting point, but from there.you have to go through the pain of figuring things out on your own, writing code, debugging yourself, researching, stackoverflow, chatgpt, talking to people, until you find the solution. It's a cycle that will continue forever and will perfect your problem solving skills until its like a second nature for you

I agree, students are 100% impatient. they focus on the end result. they want the working code. they need to realize that the learning process is the important part, the skill building part. all that time is not wasted. it's the main thing.

yeah exactly, especially now with chatgpt, i feel that so many people just copy/paste code that they dont understand just to go fast. Those people will get screwed the most, they will fall in the illusion trap that they cant code until they face a problem that they can't solve, and thats when the house of cards will fall Building problem solving skills, understanding how code works, all these parts are super important. Imo you can be impatient in the sense that you want to get to those things faster, so you work more, and get things done quicker. That part is fine. But problem is that most people instead of working harder to get to the end goal, they just dont do the work needed and try to find bad shortcuts instead🤦‍♂️

yeah 100%, but for a bunch of people, it's gonna amplify what they already do, it will make them 10x more productive. thats the codebender mindset, dont use these tools to work less, use them to become a lot better, to crush your competition, thats how you can win in the era of AI

WaAlaykum Assalam brat! Dyal ryaz hil! To build my bot I used OpenAI for the AI model + react-simple-chatbot package. But honestly, I wouldn't use those if I were you, if you want to add a chatbot for a client, just use an existing solution. No need to reinvent the wheel, use an online chatbot provider (something like Intercom but I know that there are others too specific to AI), and train it with your clients data, that will be better, no need to maintain it, debug, etc.

It's good that you are looking into AI, for sure a lot of things will change in the coming years, more and more things will be replaces in web development, especially the easy tasks like just making websites. That's why try to learn more specific/advanced skills if you want to be safe. Learn javascript and then a framework like React. After that, try to learn to interact with AI through an API like OpenAI (that's the creators of ChatGPT). This will make you standout from other people who haven't caught up to it yet. But don't waste time. You have to start working on it now!
