IF YOU FOLLOWED THE STEPS AND CANT FIND THE SOLUTION. IF YOU HAVE A GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION AND GOOD HARDWARE BUT THE STREAM IS STILL DROPPING FRAMES, TRY THIS. 1.) OPEN OBS, GO TO TASK MANAGER, FIND OBS, AND CLICK END TASK ON OBS. 2.) YOU NEED TO DO THIS EVERYTIME YOU END STREAM, AND WANT TO STREAM AGAIN. CHEERS.

Starting the stream normally works out fine but if I set a delay, say 5 minutes, OBS drops frames and won't connect. Any idea on a fix? Thanks so much!

Hi guys I'm encountering a weird issue. I am getting frame drops while streaming on KZbin. I followed the guide provided in faq and it still didn't help. So I tried streaming on facebook and am being able to stream without any issue there with literally same settings and everything. I tried talking to youtube support but they said they can't provide any assistance regarding third party app

Michael Need your help. I have 2 monitors 165 (downgraded to 120) and one more 60. When i have open obs without start stream or record i have stutter on my main gameplay . But.... If i minimize obs from second monitor or if i have obs on main monitor the problem FIX and the game its very smooth ! Why that happen and how can i fix it? Will this cause problems in 1080 60 fps streaming? I have upload 20-22 Mbp/s And I'm experiencing dropped frames I tried alot of things, settings, changed UTP cable and the problem still exists.. Yet my internet is very good, I wasnt sure my hardware is okay so i tried doing the very same thing on my laptop, which is powerful one and exactly the same thing happened. I also checked my internet connection and It looks very stable

A few days ago I was getting great video from OBS to FaceBook Live and then all of sudden I had trouble getting live video to FaceBook. Sometimes no video connection at all and other times most frames dropped. I tried your methods and was able to get video without dropped frames but it was very pixelated and blurred. It was clear prior to this. Why would the video connection change so dramatically?

Question for ya. In the new "normal" now, a LOT of churches are streaming services. We are one of them. Im have it all setup, but Im dropping frames randomly. our internet is GOOD. 100 up and 100 down. lowest I have seen is 80. It seems like the best bit rate that works is 2500 but we would prefer better. Any ideas what could cause this? (We use to stream with Sling Studio before all this, and never had drops, It was set to 5000. Could it be my PC?)

I’m looking at getting a pc and was thinking of Vmix as that’s what live streaming pros suggest but is obs good enough. I currently stream from a Mac and obs doesn’t seem great on it

Honestly, that is good advice. vMix is great. OBS is really popular because it's free. If you don't need the advanced features vMix offers, then OBS is a good choice. Mac's generally are not built as powerful as Windows computers and you will find even OBS has slightly better support on Windows. But, OBS does have a great Mac option.

same issue here but i have this issue for over a year now, and if i change to xsplit my issue is just gone, but when i try to stream on SLOBS again, the issue is back, i have tried so many things, i have been in contact with SLOBS dev team for a few months now, and they have no clue what is going on, fresh win10 install, new drivers.... nothing helps, but the issue is gone as soon as i stream on Xsplit.

I don't remember exactly what i did to fix this, but i did reinstall it but make sure you save your profile and collection in another folder so you don't lose your scenes and filters ect. I also did one more thing but forget......sry guys hope above helps

hi thanks for the video i have a question for u iv been streaming on OBS studio for about 2 weeks now and it runs smooth as chips but for some wierd reason i cant figure out im haveing an 8sec delay between me and the stream. so when someone comments in the chat i see it instantly but they dont get me replying back to them till 8 seconds after how do i remove this as i cant find a video explaining it

The delay between your chat and your stream is mainly on the CDN side (KZbin or Twitch). You can adjust the settings to their to reduce the latency.

Wifi has the same bandwidth, its not as stable, if you have terrible hardware(modem, router, wifi chip, antenna)

Lmfao it's very hard to stream in Canada unless you are paying $150/ month no way in hell you are going to push even a 720p feed to youtube. Basic high speed here is $50/ month with very slow upload speeds, downloads okay but very slow uploads.
