If everyone properly flushed the black tank, this item would not be needed. See the warning label near the pull handle. It says never flush with the outlet valve closed. Bad advice.

@@markreynolds9570 apparently you don’t know how to properly flush a black tank! The manufacturer warning lab is for manufacturer’s liability. You flush your black tank with the valve open you’ll never get all the poop and toilet paper that gets splatter at the top of tank. You’ll definitely going to need the company Kleen Tank to come clean your tank soon. Water is your best friend in a black tank. Stan

@OverTheHillAdventures Its there, the label, to prevent you from dumping black water inside or on the roof or your RV. I can show you many times that youtube creators have done it. There's no liability for the manufactures for you doing things the wrong way.

@ Mark, everyone fills the black tank several times. We get in trouble when we get distracted. Come on it’s common sense. It’s the only way you can get your black tank clean. If your ok leaving crap 💩 in your black tank than good for you. I’ve been RVing nearly 40 years and never had to get my black tank cleaned. Why?? Because I properly clean my black tank. To be honest they just started putting in these flush fittings in the last 5 to 6 years.
