In this dog painting tutorial I talk about how to stop overworking your oil paintings by limiting your brush work. Very often bad value and temperature choices, and or a bad habit of perfectionism can lead you to making this error. I discuss how I avoided making the same mistake in my own painting and then give some simple rules to help improve your brush work. I am NOT paid for using any of the products in this video. All these items have been purchased by myself and used in my daily art process. The views expressed in this video are my own.
The colours used in this video are:
cadmium yellow, yellow ochre light, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine deep, zinc titanium white.
Mediums used: gamsol mineral spirits, linseed oil
