I dont know how to say this but i spent 18 hrs today refreshing my ex's page from a fake account i made, just to see what he was liking, and whom he was following. he has a following list of 1300, and i scroll through it multiple times a day just to see if i missed out on anyone. I feel like this has become an obsessive compulsive behaviour because, i have a cv to edit, i have to look for jobs, i have to clean my house, i have to learn french, i have to pack my bags and shift to another country in less than a month. but i am still here on social media, stalking him. i feel horrible about it. what makes it more difficult to quit is we have a shared apartment and although he is staying at his friends just now, but he comes down to the apartment ever so often and if i am there he tries to get intimate. i am a mess right now and i dont know what to do. he shamelessly flirts with women on social media. earlier he used to hide it but not anymore. he accepts that speaking and flirting with multiple women online is just a meaningless thing. the bottom line is i spent on an average of 16 hrs every day since past 4 days doing exactly this. i hate myself.

U have to break the habit, it's hard but it's for your own good and it's necessary. I was also stalking my ex but I stopped cuz I know it wouldn't get me anywhere and would only make me unhappy and heartbroken. If you don't find a way to stop it becomes an addiction, and of course you can develop obsessive compulsive behavior. For your own good try to stop, a piece of advice, get rid of everything that might remind you of your ex!

I’m in my 6th day of not stalking my ex. It’s been my addiction for 8 mos (5 mos when we’re still together, 3 mos after breaking up). I tell you it’s a very difficult decision to make and everyday is a challenge for me because I’m being tempted to stalk him but I always ask myself everytime I wanna stalk him “is it going to be worth it?”, “what will you feel if after stalking him you found out that he’s dating someone else?”, So those questions help me a lot to stop stalking my ex. It’s super hard but I know it is the best thing to do and I will be okay soon.

@@Aqsaabhatthey! So sorry for the late revert. But to answer your questions, yes I got rid of the addiction of stalking him and yes I am so much better now. Although i must admit that even after almost 10 months of not stalking him, he still continues to cross my mind but it does not hurt anymore. I can say that discipline is really what’s gonna help you through these challenging times. And always remind yourself that YOU ARE WORTHY OF TRUE LOVE! 💕

it got so bad that it became a thing even when I was busy in my daily life, I work, go to the gym, do a lot of hobbies and even hangout with friends, usually those who stalk have bad intentions, but I truly have a hard time detaching and loosing feelings, even talking stages or failed attempts to ask them out and getting rejected I never ever convince them or text them after breakups or rejections but I cannot stop stalking heavily.. it’s so hard to fix

Idk if you’ll see this but I have this issue. I don’t feel incomplete, I don’t feel like I want to get back together with this person, I’ve genuinely never been happier in my life. I just wish that my ex is doing better and I look to see that they are and pray for them that they can be happy like I am. I hope they do get in a relationship, a healthy one, I pray they stop being so depressed and lost, that’s the only reason I continue to check on him but I know I need to stop. Long time ago, I've already cut the long distance relationship with my former colleague for turning against me. Once I blocked her contacts completely, karma got her for fraud. Currently, I'm still facing challenges due to possible rejections. I became nervous of trying to ask a crush out, because she's probably in an undisclosed relationship with another person. I really wish my ex would watch this. I was not in a relationship with her but I was like kinda a friend but she knew I loved her. There was a time when I was going thru abuse in my life and I was not able to control my emotions and stuff and I was so lonely and depressed and had no one to talk to except her I messed up and kinda forced her to talk to me every time and stuff and I was kinda rude, basically I was not concious of myself when I did all of that. She hates me with passion and she know that I'm a stalker altho I still love her so much I just don't know what to do. The thing is I was never whole before. I only became whole when I met her. I just I haven't even got chance to date her or something. And btw I met her online and she doesn't know what I look like. It's all started in a complicated way when we were underage and she rejected me over an old grown up man and she said I made her cry because I said I love her, that's when I started stalking and creating different account to talk to her because she was not replying to me and she was busy talking to that grown old man. Its has been 4 years now maybe almost 5 years. I had some notions to track her down somehow and go to her city and live and maybe work there with a chance of meeting her under a different name somehow and ask explain to her that I'm new here to the town and that I saw her like days ago and I'd like to date and maybe leave her my number or something... I just don't know what to do. And sometimes I think I should just go text her or call her and admit my mistakes to her and that I was wrong and ask for her forgiveness then move on. I haven't loved anybody in my life I mean no one even my own parents I hate them so much because they're abusive I never loved them or felt something towards them at all or anybody else except for that girl. I was a bad nasty person in the past but after meeting her I became better I felt connection with God somehow I started becoming more religious and a better person. I was never whole again, this girl changed me and made me whole. I never truly cried before and loved someone, she was the only one, I cried because of her because I never felt this kind of love and tranquility in my heart before in my life.
