Hi Mr. Brown, you did it again. I wish you would’ve made this video two weeks ago. The caterpillar ate my tomato plant up, and I had three tomatoes on there ,and he ate all of the tomatoes. I’m going to buy some basil tomorrow ,and I will be sharing your video thanks again.

HEY, Mrs. White!!! I'm trying to get the videos out. I'm sorry they got your plants. Hopefully, the basil will keep them off. I had no hornworms last year.

Thank you so much! I have some basil that I started from seed and it's grown to the place it's ready to plant. I'm going to go ahead and plant them all around near my tomatoes. Thank you again for this tip!

HEY, Iyanka!!! You are welcome. It's great you planted basil. I left mine out too long, and they died. The basil helped me last year. I hope it helps you this year

I am planting basil around my tomatoes this year. I have a lot less tomato plants so I definitely need the protection.

Yes, it is great to have around. I still will spot check my plants to make sure it's working. I did very well with the basil last year. I did not have a horn worm. I am still planting, though, so hopefully, I get to them all before that fly does. Good luck to you.

Great video. 😊 All my tomato plants are in grow bags, which have different varieties of basil planted with them. I also have mesh netting covers over all my tomato plants. Double protection 😊

@@elwandaa1882 i also had mesh bird netting over my tomatoes with basil plant beside & I never had any problems bless the Lord bc I don’t believe I would have been able to touch the plants if there were any hornworms or the like 🤣

I looked at Walmart yesterday and the bigger basil plants were $5 and the smaller were $3. Definitely worth it.

Good advice. I hate those worms, I don't ever want to see one. I'm so scared of them, I did plant Basil beside mine, but I want more to make sure I don't have any.

I did plant 3 separate basil plants throughout my small raised bed garden & buckets, but I did NOT actually plant inside veggie beds or buckets I do believe I needed 2 additional… since I use cedar raised beds, food grade buckets & crates with growing liners is it okay to have 3-6 separate basil plant pots set throughout?

HEY Sondra!!! You can have them throughout the garden. I wish I did more but I did not have many hornworms. I had one big one and 1 small one on the same plant. I had at least 12 tomato plants.

I have Basil everywhere but it is not helping. I have 2 basil plants and a marigold in with one of my tomato plants and it is all but dead now. I got 5 tomatoes only.

HEY Tamra, I am sorry to hear. I had only one Hornworm and I caught it early. I have basil on around all my tomatoes. I get tomatoes every week. I got a monster one today, I going to do a short maybe Sunday from the harvesting footage today.
