Grim, but yes that's a funny point that they may have seen their lack of zompocalypse as a successful result of their actions. Beautiful day you had there though, nothing but rain here for the last week

I got very lucky that day I think, it had been horrible the rest of the week 😁

It’s definitely worth a visit! There are a few information boards there, there’s more up do date info on their website though.

Funny, right below this video in my feed was an ad for "28 Years Later"

Why are sound and video on this so weirdly... wonky. There is no background noise at all and the video looks like it's viewed through hot air rising from the asphalt.

I think it might be the stitching from the 360 camera that you’re seeing, it is quite visible in some scenes unfortunately. The sound seems ok to me? I will have a closer look though.

After watching a cpl of your uploads, I noticed something was niggling me. I couldnt put my finger on it at first. Its to do with the unrealistic, naturally clear outdoor audio. At first I thought you had over dubbed it in the edit. Then it occurred to me you are probably using those expensive noise cut mics. The fidelity is great, but unless you are actually in a noisy area it doesn't sound nice. Seems like your not actually there. Cold sounding, a bit like an audio book. The odd car or bird singing in the background would give it some warmth and lifelike. Those mics don't go down well in these environments. Urban exploring needs to sound real, with the odd variations o the voice levels. Nice idea, time to ditch it though.

Thanks for the feedback, I can hear it now that you mention it. I think it might be related to a noise cleanup feature in my editing software. I've already shot and edited the next video but I'll see if I can sort that out for the next one.

Calling the revenants medieval pll feared for zombies is kinda missing the mark, as they where not thought of as braindead flesheaters but entities with quite a bit of agency

i think what medieval people believed would be closer to what we today see as a vampire than a zombie.
