@@gone547 Well I agree. I stopped using FB because of so many friends insisting to prove themselves as good, but rather proving attitudes and lack of much knowledge. Real interaction makes better communication and those who cannot communicate with differing ideas can walk away into the safety of their own bubbles. Too easy access to social media has made people fall into illusions in their preferred group think bubbles and behave in the nastiest ways. Because of this unfortunately one cannot always take the high road on the internet. One single character assassinating word would "on the high road" often take 2000 words to correct - and nobody will even read it. So the "debate" becomes reduced to superficial and emotional word jabbing.

It's more than just that. There really is no way to fully escape from tracking. They all have nfc built into them these days which can be pinged with a radio signal, same as your credit cards, then there are satellites and any number of other tracking beacons, other peoples phones and their ghost profiling, etc. That's why I like how in his details he says "pseudo anonimty."

I keep turning location permissions off and find it on again and again. I'm really uncomfortable with this setting. Why does anyone need my location, except for me& who i choose to tell?
@tamuman934 жыл бұрын
Mary Jane - Thats probably one of the apps in your phone. Google and Apple don’t care if you give them permission or not. They know where you are even if you shut your phone off. How? When you turn your phone off, you only shut down the operating interface that you see. Google keeps the plug in port of your phone powered up (even when your phone is off). This keeps your GPS powered on and transmits location information (at a minimum) at all times. Apple takes a similar approach. However, I am not sure what component on an Apple phone is used to accomplish the same task. Just know, you are being tracked at all times - and possibly more - whether you’re phone is on or off.

I've experienced hackers parking near me to hack my phone. As soon as I turn off, they pull away. In research, iv found while in Missouri that there are schools that teach phone hacking. These hackers are of all ages practicing their skills. It got where I knew them instantly. I turn off, they quickly leave. I'm thrilled to have found you. You see I'm working but live in my car. I try to learn what I can, some info is confusing.

This is why I sometimes think about changing back to android at-least they allow you more freedom and isn’t overly hyped. They allow you to turn off WiFi scanning. Anything that is overly hyped is bound to have people tracking it. Just know that your phone doesn’t define you, unlike the world, God loves you the way you are and just wants to see you be your best you to his glory. Know that angels are always with you and you don’t have anything to worry about when you have God. All love ❤️ May God be with us and protect us all from this controlling world 🌎 Amen

It can be a good thing sometimes. My husband was car jacked recently. His phone was still in the car when the bad guys drove off with it. Hubby gave permission for the police to ping it to find the car. It was found within an hour. Thankful for that but I do understand Google knowing where you are is kind of creepy. I used to get an email telling where we had been. I was shocked they knew everywhere we had stop. I thought it was from Google Maps but we don't use Google maps for every place we go.

@@monkeybearmax From what I’ve read: RFID chips can be scanned using the more powerful and accurate 5G phone signals, WiFi triangulation, coordinated with satellite GPS data accessible through your smartphone...
@badkarma61814 жыл бұрын
@@monkeybearmax 6 ft. Resolution is the minimum distance between 2 or more targets that the signal can discern between targets with any reliable certainty of distinguishing the targets from one another. So as if you had 6 people all within 6 feet of each other (all standing inside a 6 ft. circle), the system would not work since you would all be too close together. It would not know who is who, it would cause “garble”, signals overlapping. Like 6 different people talking all at once and I ask you what each one was saying, independent from the others...

I'm concerned with electromagnetic radiation emitted by the smart phones. Could you advise any model with low radiation and tacking free? Thanks for your advice.
@geoden3 жыл бұрын
Phones use microwave frequencies at very low power. But RF at all frequencies travels at 299,792,458 m/s (metres per second), the speed of light. You can't get free of tracking unless you remove the battery. That's why you can't buy a new phone battery these days, they need your battery power to track you. Switching off the phone does nothing but fool you, a tower signal can switch on your phone at will, but the screen and audio section will remain blank and silent to fool you into ''thinking'' it's off. If you have some electronics knowledge you can disable the battery and connect it again when you need the phone to work. But the hassle is hardly worth while. Best to do without a mobile phone, the easiest way is to never use your phone, leave it at home permanently or of course, use a hammer!

I guess installing a KZbin app would be out the question then? Great video by the way, have checked out quite a few vids on similar subject matter and this was by far the most informative and rationally presented. I’m considering getting the new Braveheart PinePhone, if you can kit those up not too long after their release I’d probably buy one from you.
@dszyjz248srjb4 жыл бұрын
NewPipe is a KZbin alternative app that can be downloaded from F-droid. Rob mentioned this in his 'F-Droid - A Safer App Store for Android?' video. Also, invidio.us is a secure front-end YT alternative that you can access in browsers. Several privacy-respecting browser extensions can show you how much tracking is present in KZbin site.
