I absolutely love that you can go over archival with water based and it doesn't affect it. Excellent tips especially storage. TY, Wendy.

Very smart never knew they were oil based and the water based and oil base won’t blend but can be combined. So cool to know

WOW! That was a lot of very priceless information I did not know about your paints Wendy. I love the Archival Inks as they are my favorites, but your Make Art Inks I did not know about...so very cool to learn and your information was very informative. I will have to invest in some of the Make Art Inks beings I can mix them with my Archival inks. This is good because I can mix them both together so it will be so much more fun for me. Thank YOU so much for this video. : ) Have a great weekend!

This is great information! I did not know that you could clean up archival inks with alcohol. I'll try that on my stamp block. Thank you!

Would like to see how you did the cloth stamp and colored it as well. That's so cool that you can wash and it don't come off. Please show us how you did that please and thanks. I love the make art station got it couple weeks ago and use it all the time

I came here in the hope that I could FINALLY find all the colors swatched out. I have been looking for around 3 hours online for just one swatch chart so I can figure out which colors I want to buy, and can you believe it... there is NOT ONE ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND ONLINE! Not even on the Ranger website, which is ridiculous!

I have both Ranger Archival Jet Black, and Archival Black Soot Distress, and the Black Soot is FAR darker and crisp than the Jet Black.

I just found your channel and am trying to learn the craft of stamping. How do you add ink to the pads after you have been using them for about a year. Just buy another one or add ink? Also, can I use the Archival Ink pad on rubber stamps too or just the clear plastic stamps. Sorry for the questions but like I mentioned, I am totally new to this craft and I am excited to learn. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and time.

Thanks for this! Really helpful. But I'm trying to find out what we can do to refresh dried archival pads, other than reinking. I just bought them and they're already pretty dry. Any tips? Thank you!

Wow, this was so helpful! I was going to put my ink pads standing up because I’m using a shadow box on top of my drawers, but was worried if I stood them on their side that one side would be saturated with ink and the other side empty. So you’re saying it doesn’t matter and I can stand them up? Thank you for sharing 💜

I just bought Jet Black Archival Ink from Hobby Lobby. I stamped my rubber stamp and pressed it to make sure all surfaces came into contact with the pad. When I pressed the stamp onto the white paper, the whole image didn't come through. I rubbed it with my finger firmly before lifting. What could be wrong? I'm still waiting for Ranger to address this issue. Thanks.

Can we clean our stamps with alcohol, hand sanitizer it will it ruin the stamp?
@patcraven13095 жыл бұрын
Great question ...I was wondering the same thing👍
@wendyvecchi5 жыл бұрын
most times I just rub a microfiber cloth over the stamp to clean it. if it’s really inky, I do use rubbing alcohol on them. Mr. Stampers Anonymous said the 2 things that will damage rubber stamps are direct sunlight & petroleum products. so, don’t leave your stamps out on the deck in the sun & don’t use them with petroleum products. hope that helps.

I am new to stamping and a bit confused I want to know the permanent ink if you colour say the leaves or petals of a flower will the black run, or does it only run with water based inks.
@wendyvecchi5 жыл бұрын
Mary Murphy I think you might be a bit confused, or maybe i didn’t understand your question...if you watch the video again, I think that will help.

I did say I was a bit confused what I want to know is which type of ink pad should I use to avoid colour run from the stamping ink with my colouring pens.
@wendyvecchi5 жыл бұрын
@@marymurphy7037 it depends what kinds of “coloring” pens you’re using. Archival is perfect for water based pens, but not for copies. hope this helps.
