Thank you for the tips on how you store cards that you were trying to grade

I keep my sets in binders. The sets are safer in my opinion since I don’t mess with the binder almost ever.

I collect amiibo cards, as my set completion rises so does the overall value of my collection. I swear by top loaders and team bags. Been doing that for many years, since humidity and dust is a struggle. As shown in the video, I didn’t like how the team bags fit in the card boxes. I ended up getting a super nice scrap booking box from the craft store and added my own dividers, it’s an awesome alternative.

Is it advisable to use the ultrapro 9 pocket page then kept in a ultra pro ring binders. What are the pros and cons? Thanks man. Cheers
@statonclark18632 жыл бұрын
I still give them sleeves in that situation, but only if they’re cheap and sets. In my experience, binders frankly suck when it comes to preserving cards.
@jacksondedow68412 жыл бұрын
What bags do you put on your toploaders.
@redcapesports2 жыл бұрын
On toploaders I often just out a piece of painters tape so that it gets pinches closed and less dust gets in. Some people will also use what's called team bags. Hope this helps

They sound like a beast way to ruin your cards
@ruleaus76643 жыл бұрын
@@jordanclarke3170 I'm not convinced binders will ruin your cards so long as there aren't too many pages in them and you use common sense when handling them and putting the binder away. I'm using side-loaded pocket pages and a D-ring binder.

If u put the cards inside the cardboard storages, will it cause damage to the card if u put it too tight? Even with top loader?
@kfiscal012 жыл бұрын
It can. I've had photo cards stick together. And if you take them out frequently the corners get dinged. I use those box's for mostly commons.

Hello. Can any one tell me when PSA allows 60/40 centering on the front of a PSA Gem 10 card? I've looked at hundreds of cards now from the early 80's to the present and couldn't find a card with worse than 55/45 centering in either direction on the front. This is in spite of the fact that PSA says in their grading description on their web site that the front centering standard is, "not to exceed approximately 55/45 to 60/40 percent on front.

Appreciate you smashing the sub button. And yes, it feels like no matter where you live, little dust particles will get in bo matter what. Just an unfortunate reality. The boxes definitely do help though!

@@redcapesports Yeah I smashed that like button so hard I think I might have broke it. Lol. Yeah I'm about 50 miles east of sacramento and there is two card shops inbetween me and the bay area. Well scratch that figure because out of those two, one is online but for some reason continue to advertise an empty building. We got crap for selection in these here parts. I really like to spread my hard earned dollar to as many small mom and pop stores that i can. I try my very best to stay out of walmart but that is basically my card selection. Pitiful utterly pitiful. Anyway thanks again for the reply sir. I plan on being a regular on your channel so keep that great advice and those supwe videos coming. Goodnight.

The only way to do it is to Penny sleeve EVERY card and store them in 800 count boxes and put them in an 800-count-box shelving unit in a cool dry temperature controlled room and put a few moisture satchels in the cupboard where u store the shelving unit. Oh, and make sure you always have clean fingernails. And never-ever touch ANY card (no matter the value) with a hand that is not gloved. If u think that is all too much trouble, you're in the wrong hobby if u want to make money.
