I have a suggestion when trimming your ends make sure to take off all, of your thin ends or else they will continue to split to the root. If you can see through them they are damaged and will stop you, from retaining length in the long run. I can say this because I use to be a cosmetologist.

Your hair is gorgeous, but I suspect not cutting all the split ends off will eventually stunt your growth, and I could still see a ton of split ends. I do my own hair as well but it took a long time to find someone to JUST TRIM the dead ends, and it makes the world of difference. Love your makeup too.

Brownskin Barbie Girl, I have the same problem. I'm trying a comb attachment next time. Maybe I'll do the tension method in conjunction with it. The key to a straight hair is the blow drying part. I'm trying everything lol.

you may have issues when you go to a salon because they cut your ends until they are no longer transparent, which may be more than what is ideal for you. Most stylists wont dust ends because keeping those ends slows down overall length retention. Your hair looks great!

You should cut all the see through ends. Bc the split ends will just grow up the shaft. And soon it'll be see through all the way up. Healthy hair shouldn't be see through or damaged at the end. The more you clip those off the better your hair will grow

How do I keep my hair from getting frizzy? Like I can wash my hair, condition it, put oil on it, blow dry it, then flat iron it and when I go out side it gets right back frizzy! I could literally be outside for 5 minutes and the ends of my hair would look like I just blow dried wet hair. I don't know if it's the oil I use or what. I use coconut oil but I usually use a lot of that to make my hair oily so when I do go outside it won't frizz up fast. I need tips!!!!

Jasmine Burchett you need to use a serum with silicone to block frizz and humity. It will also prevent heat damage. Try not to use straight up coconut to blow dry and flatiron...you're gonna fry your hair

Candia President ok! What do you recommend I use? I've tried the garnier fructis anti frizz serum and that doesn't work. The only way for my hair to actually lay flat, straight and not frizz up is if I use hella oil and that weighs my hair down.

Jasmine Burchett I'm not her and I hope the response isn't late. But I recommend Fantasia frizz buster. I use it when I straighten my hair and it keeps my hair from frizzing up when I go outside in the humidity. I also wrap my hair right after I straighten it so it will stay straight longer. I hope i helped😊

U need to Cut more in the back. U have sections that you can see through.. U want to cutt that because ur hair will stay at one length.. U will keep dusting ur new growth.. But other than that your hair is vibrant and full of movement.. Go girl

I do think you should go to a trusted person you know and get at least one inch off your ends they are very see through and will continue to get thinner and break off.....but this style is beautiful and your hair would've still been beautiful with well trimmed ends.....😉

How do you prevent your hair from reverting I deep condition and everything's under hooded dryer I use treated heat protection, Aragon oil, serum, it's a 10 leave in and thats it, it's very humid in nc, but I see many other natural without this problem but they don't tell me their trick, if I put alot allot of oil on it, it won't revert but then its greasy and not bouncy uuugh! Help meeeee!
