This is why you need to use the 2 accounts. Using remote play with the second account is just so that you can then connect the controller to your main account to play on without it connecting. :)

Your phone regards the remote play apps as sensitive apps to record or screenshot. Search for a way to bypass this for your exact device.

Are you using 2 accounts? You need to use the 2 accounts and connect the controller to the main account, not the remote play account

you dont need to connect the contrller to your PC or phone anymore. Keep it connected to your console, then connect remote play to the second account whilst the contrller is connected to your main account signed in on the console

This is why you need the 2 accounts. Sign in on remote play with the second account, and then you connect the controller to the PS4 and the first account.

yeah so you can play direct on the console instead of having the input go through remote play first. Completely removes input lag :)

Hi Teis Kornerup. Try the following: Step 1 - Click the sign-in button to bring up the window to sign in. Step 2 - Right-click the blue "Sign in" button on the pop-up window, and select properties. Step 3 - Copy the link in the properties box. Make sure to copy and paste the WHOLE link. It isn't all visible at once and you have to scroll in that section of the properties window. Step 4 - Paste the link into your web browser and sign in. Step 5 - Now you should be on a page that just says "redirect". Copy the link at the top. Step 6 - Go back to the sign-in window on remote play and press "Ctrl + L". Step 7 - Paste that link into the box that comes up from pressing "Ctrl + L" on the sign-in pop-up and click ok. You should now be signed in to your account on remote play. Hope this helps :D

Hey! After publishing this, I discovered this is an issue with some Android devices (typically Samsung), as they flag remote play as being a secure app so it doesn't allow you to record the app. However, there is a workaround. If you go to KZbin and search for "how to record secure apps on [insert your device's name]" or "how to take screenshots on secure apps on [insert your device's name]" or something along those words, there should be a guide with how you can get around it. You should then be able to share the remote play app without it showing up as black. Sorry I wasn't aware of this when making the video. If I was, I would have included a warning and work-around for those few mobile users who experience the issue in this video. I hope this helps you!

Thanks so much! :D Regarding the black screen issue this was something I discovered after uploading this hence not mentioning it. Some phones have security on the remote play app for some reason. You can sort of bypass this if you look up how to bypass not being able to record secure app tutorials.
