Thank you for this, I’ve bought gloves that I used to send back for being too tight, but after your process they fit perfectly. The XL sizes I have bought in the past to lessen the strain of being too tight with size “L” have caused issues due to my fingertips not reaching the end of the finger pouch. Now i buy large size instead of XL which are tight, yet when I perform this process they fit perfectly. Respect

Thank you for this video! I've bought second pair of motorcycle gloves and it was still a bit too tight. So I was a bit upset about going and buying another pair... So I tried to search the internet for helpful tips and I chanced on this video. Firstly I was very sceptical about this procedure, if it will really spread out that much I needed to, but I tried it. And I have to THANK YOU, it fits me like it was manufactured for me now!

I watched this, part of it. I went and found my riding gloves from 1970. I found them under a box of photographs. They had nit been worn in fifty years. They were flat and stiff as roadkill. My hands are way way bigger than they were at 17. I remembered that i always used to oil my baseball glove every spring to get it loosened up, So I found an old bottle of mother's Hawes Lemon Oil for furniture. The bottle had a spritzer. I crammed one hand at a time into a glove and spritzed it with Hawes. I could see the leather actually drinking in the oil. It disappeared, completely absorbed. After about three coats I could feel the leather relaxing, breathing again. I put the gloves out in the hot hot summer sun for a few hours. When I put them on again they were as supple as when they were new. I wore them all evening and by bedtime they were stretched out and fit perfectly again.

Ok, i did it,...but instead of putting newspaper inside, I just squeezed my hands in there and soaked them in hot water (maybe 75-80 degrees Celsius) My plan is to just let them dry on my hands,...as far as possible,...they are fitting so good now, that i literally just tipping this text with them! they are still wet though, and this may be a factor, but I will give you an update tomorrow! I bought them half a number to small, because I have weird hands and hate gloves that are to big (poor leaver control), but figured that, since they are leather, I will work them in anyways. The Finger length was perfect but all in all just way to tight (even painful on some spots), I hope this works!,...because all in all I have never had gloves that fitted so well, like those ones (in their still wet) state.

@@Motourev That worked so well!!!, I have to admit, I had a "couple" of beers yesterday,...and that's maybe why I was willing to wear soaking wet gloves for,...maybe four ours,...at home,...but it's so much better now! I obviously couldn't wear them, until they were completely dry, but the result is amazing. They are still just a little snug on the right hand and I guess, I could repeat the treatment,...but I think, they are so good now, that I can do the rest just by conventionally breaking them in (they are basically brand new),...and using some wax or conditioner! I honestly never had gloves that fit so well,...and I'm thinking about buying a second pair. Thank you!

I have the opposite problem, my gloves' fingers are too long and roomy but the palm fits just fine so I've been told to use a hair dryer on the hot setting instead of stretching them with bags

Only works on unlined gloves, I tried on a pair of gloves that were too tight but they had a soft lining and inside that they had a plastic lining luckily they were old cheap and tight.

Would this be the same process with leather biker gloves with no armour? Mine are a little snug but worried that stretching would damage the stitching or intergrity of the gloves as they have no armour already. Great vid!

I believe you can also use a blow dryer and and spray a bit of water from the outside. Made a whole Nike shoes size fit me. But the key also is to not overdo it otherwise it can turn into a complete flop lol.
