I strung a Nike Dunk today that I just got today, I strung it traditional, the bottom holes were small, but the leathers at the bottom are cut to a point kinda like a box cutter razor is so it'll fit threw the hole and you just pull it through after you get it started

Hey Brah I love teaching myself how to string the heads like this but my only questions are what are the lengths of all the strings? How long are the Side Walls? How long are the other ones? Do leathers come in one size? Inbox me the answer to this comment. Thanx
@tradtionallax12 жыл бұрын
this is an awesome vid, have you ever thought of stringing your pitas with two nylons in the middle rather than two leathers? i play girls lax and used this vid to string some of my sticks, but i used nylons in some of them aswell. Found it turned out pretty sweet.

This is what i just used and i had the perfect amount! 4 Leathers 1 64" piece of nylon (for the middle one) 2 55" pieces of nylon (for the one that connects middle to side leathers) 2 45" pieces of nylon (for the leathers to the sidewall) 2 Sidewall strings And whatever number of shooting strings you like
@laxmonkey37711 жыл бұрын
great video Wes, but are there any other good tutorials out there?
@Boxcarcrzy1212 жыл бұрын
@Bacondrop You take a shorter length of string and put it through the bottom sidewall holes (not bottom string) then pull it through the other bottom sidewall hole and tie a know. Now instead of pulling the leathers through the holes, you just tie them to this string.. Did that help at all?
@DyTr3Z12 жыл бұрын
How do you treat the leather straps? I have heard that people like stretch them and put them in hot water
@ItsExcite12 жыл бұрын
I did this and it came out good but my friend told me not to do the twirls in the middle all the way down, and it leaves just leather for a really good pocket, only problem might be that it gets to wide and the ball falls out but it never ever really happens at all.
