If I'm not mistaken, you are using the Gamma 6004 6pts mount machine. Did you use the Gamma adapter with the WISE. It looks like your tension head sits lower than the racket. Just curious. Thanks.

hey kwun, what are your ideas of the gamma floating clamps for the gamma X-6 ? are they any good? or should i upgrade them to a yonex or something else ?

1) How do you measure out the string to this ? Is it six times the racquet head length on the short side.. ?How much excess is left on the short side? 2) When doing the top 3 strings (19, 20 and 21 or 20, 21 and 22) is it worth considering going cross 19 through 21 and then tying of on 20?

I have always strung badminton racquets using 2 pieces of string. Although I mostly string badminton racquets I do occasionally string squash and tennis racquets and have used one piece and round the world patterns on those. I thought one piece stringing on badminton racquets was not generally considered a good idea?

25lbs mains / 27lbs cross. plays really well.
@BadmintonCentralTV12 жыл бұрын
it try to be center out when tensioning the cross string. symmetrical tensioning give better playability.

why do you use different tensions ?

Just asking. Do you guys think when you put 22lbs all the mainstrings it is good. The last strings are almost 3times shorter so therefore the corners will not have any feelings. If you put 22lbs in the middle and compere it with the last string there is huge diffrent. If i string 10kg then i put 1kg less the llast 6 strings. If i string 17.5 then ill go 15 and last 4 is 13kg. But if i put all 17.5kg my friend cant play with it. Simple.

well... first off, i am not a stringer, just someone who plays and cares about my equipment... and i just want to express what i know (from playing and physics). i'm not trying to draw any argument... i don't really understand what did you mean by " corners will not have any feelings", but we don't suppose to hit outside the sweet spot (except low serve) anyway... and if you are going to reduce tension on the sides (vertical), wouldn't the racket loses tension even faster? after all, it is the same piece of string (for verticals) even you use the 4 knots method, the frame will not hold the string in position forever, after awhile (even without hitting), the string will "slip" and so your middle will not have higher tension than the 2 sides, they will become the same. So keeping all verticals with the same tension make perfect sense, at least to me

If you run the string through the outsides before weaving the cross, you don't have to perform the hard weave around the entire racquet starting at 14:40. Then all you need is just a hook to pull the strings later. Could help speed up the process.

Why only 2lbs and not 10% addition? Why only an extra 2 lbs in middle cross strings and not the whole way cross strings?

I have been given a Head Metallix badminton racquet to string and there is no way of stringing it in two pieces as there are insufficient tie off grommets. This Haribito method looks like the only way I can string it but the racquet has 23 crosses, hopefully this wont be a problem. Has anyone watching this strung the Head Metallix using this pattern?
