i didn't know about that. i wonder how come i never seen this way of stringing online. this method is easier when there is no one to help or you have no other device to use.

Thank you for demonstrating this technique so clearly. I am now using it to string a Hungarian bow with long syhas. I was having great difficulty finding a technique I was comfortable with that didn’t require assistance.

Great vid. I use a similar version only standing up to string my H1 Heavy draw (100@28”) I find though it can be difficult to use this method if you are short (like me). It takes some small adjustments to creep your hand up onto the top siyah to get the leverage before going for the full pull. You seem to be tall with long arms so just thought I would add this as you prob don’t have the prob that shorter archers can encounter when trying to use this method to string heavy asiatic style bows.

thanks for adding. yes, each bows and each archers are different so different methods can be used. :)

Thank you very much. I watch your videos more and more (basically every new at this point) since they are so helpful and informations in them are not easy to find (at least in my case) and to take it even further, the way of what you are showing in your videos (on topics which may have already been on KZbin) is unique. For example your videos with tong-ah are my most favorite, others KZbin archers dont show such details, use other techniques etc. I hope my english makes sense. Thank you really very much and please continue with your videos :-)

i don't know what type of bows you like but if this helps. Alibowshop.com they have heavier poundage. not many options but you can checkout their website. Daylitearchery.com also carry some 70~80# bows. check their website. MRbows.com this is one i got my Tiron from. different designs and more options here. Afarchery thehy have some more options than other websites. many kinds of fiberglass bow in higher poundage. hope this info helped. :)

hi, i have not tried any longer bows. longest bows i use this method is about 52" NTN. i think it can be done but will be tough due to length of the bow if you are short and have a long bow.
@stav1369 Жыл бұрын
@@iyoo1I am not as short as you but I am not tall (5’8) and I have a h1 heavy draw 100@28” and you can do it but it takes a few goes to get the right leverage and you have to really stretch and creep you hand up onto the top siyah. It’s not as smooth as this video as you have to make small adjustments with you top hand as you bend the bow.
