Unfortunately, time and money is not endless. So why not save time and money and learn how to strip a jersey? In this video you will learn two different techniques. First, with a seam ripper. How much was the knife? Can it be used to remove junk vinyl numbers too?

They're pretty cheap $6 or less shipped usually. You can do it on vinyl as long as it's stitched to the jersey. @@fantasticvoyage262 I'm glad the video helped. Overall you're looking at hour or more for the whole jersey. Vs about 35-40 minutes with the exacto knife.

If you bought it on fanatics i think they have jersey insurance if the players get traded. I think it's within a year. I know they have the policy on their site. I hope that helps. If you do strip it who are you thinking of turning it into?

It's Cool Base Authentic thankfully. Replicas are usually a pain to strip. It was customized with a fan's name. Stripping it to turn into Dye for a friend.

@@alexandrecavalcante4784 The replicas are usually sewn on by a machine not by a person. So they usually double stitch and or almost always have paper backing on the name and numbers to hold it in place. The current replicas though are not even stitched on. They are heat pressed with adhesive which takes quite a bit of work to remove.
