I was a straight A student ( not all the time, like 90% of the time) And when i met other students who were better than me, i couldn't believe it and eventually i did what Gohar said, I had to let go of my ego. I'm in 11th grade too. Man, my academic performance in 10th was pretty good. But now that I'm in 11th, I'm so overwhelmed by the amount of portions. I chose a science group thinking that I could do well. But in reality I am so overwhelmed by the amount of content in this group and how hard it is. I had two complete cycle tests over the past two months and I did horrible. I got hit twice and I won't let it happen once more. I now perceive the regions where I went wrong and I'm provoked to correct myself. I had a hell lotta ego, I won't lie. But now I'm ready to let go of it and try to become a better me.

1. Ask yourself why your grades aren't where they are supposed to be: a. overwhelmed (too much on your hands) - cut down to make room for stuff that matters b. distracted (you're just distracted by too many things) - silencing phones and turning off notifications - time limits - put the phone in a different room - declutter your mind and space - white, pink or brown noise c. struggling (struggling to grasp information) - leverage every resource - study partners and AI - the Feynman technique d. lazy (you're just not bothered) - Passive studying - re-reading textbooks, rewatching lectures, highlighting notes - Active studying - doing practice questions, pretending to teach others, rewriting notes in your own words - visualise yourself getting your goals - visualise your worst nightmare

My BIGGEST tip for anyone is to think of life as one big SPEEDRUN. Trying to speedrun everything makes life so much more fun because you’re going for a better time rather than just completing an assignment you couldn’t care less about. Like in the mornings, I get up, start the stop watch on my phone, get ready for school as fast as possible (even discovering tricks to be quicker) and then I track my times. Might not directly help you be motivated to do a science project, but it’ll definitely increase your baseline dopamine

One of my biggest comebacks are in math. I had 66% to 84% overall. But in math it was a big difference. Went from 16% to 94%. Not only it is high grades but it was highest grades in my class. Math was my weakest subject but it is my favourite subject now. I also started to get interest in the theories. I had some days, and I had to make my base strong. With days of hardwork, I achieved this. Once the flow is made, it must not be broken.

Currently barely maintaining all As (Cambridge Biology and AP Precalc are no joke yall). I feeling overwhelmed even though my grades are where I want them to be. For me, a brilliant kid in 8th grade(going into freshman year) where I was in NJHS(National Junior's Honor Society). I was the lazy person, and it was mostly because of my friends honestly, they got me really hooked on to Rainbow Six Siege and video games in general again, which made me have 9 missing math assignments!! But what I did is I pulled my head out of my a## and just got to work, I decided to have one day where I just spend nearly all the time after school to get that work done, and it worked out FLAWLESSLY as I got ALL of that work done. Until the most stressful time of the year came... 4th period, I started out with 3 Fs in Math, Social Studies, and ELA... And I had to do the same thing. I spent an entire month stressing all over missed work I had, which built up because of out days and band trips. But I did the same thing, and passed... Now all I'm just saying is NEVER EVER be lazy and make sure you get your work done ASAP and follow/subscribe to Gohar 😁

ok challenge accepted i got an f in the last semester in dynamics , tho i was the best at it in the high school the reason was me not making my Summaries as i did in high scholl and cause i was too arrogant so the best posible grad i can get is b+ given i failed last semester and i just dec only 5 grads in class work so far including the midterms so i will come again after the finals to give you ان شاء الله the grad of b+ in dynamics showing you are wrong you became a new motivation gohar

Thank you so much, this was exactly the video I needed! I’m a high school student and I went to a very small middle school, so I never had to study and still got good grades, but now I’m going to a school of about 1600 students and I just don’t find the motivation to study at home since I never had to. Tysm ❤

I'm here because I failed my exams ngl. This semester has been pretty tough considering midterms are happening right now. After I watch this video from right now to the end of the semester (which is mid December for me), I'll update you guys on how my grades are looking. RIght now I have C's and I wanna bump those to an A- at most. Catch you guys soon.

Guys if you get distracted by your phone use it to record a timelapse of you studying. It's literally so helpful.

I'm consistent honor student, I always aces our exams and get a straight 9's, my highest grade is 98%. But now I lost my passion and feel mediocre. Everything that I do seems mediocre, I study everyday but nothing feels right anymore. I'm worried that my parents expectations in me will turn to disappointments. Even though it's clearly not working I still want to give it a try. Life is not a race, I'm going to make my academic comeback again. Manifesting with high again this sy☝️✊🤞🤞
