I wear hats all the time. I moved from a large city to a rural community, people look at me a little strangely, but they provide great sun protection and make the wearer look fabulous. Thanks for providing the hat website -- I've already been there and saw a few hats that might have to be mine!! OMG! I've always loved hats (and thankfully, they suit me well). I've recently started collecting hatpins to use with my hats. Talk about the power of hats - going out to dinner after a Mardi Gras Ball in New Orleans several years ago - when my date and I entered Cafe Sbisa, the maître d' took one look at my swoop brimmed hat and said, "My dear, you HAVE to sit right across from the entrance in front of the ornamental mirror." I'll never forget how special that made me feel. My sister found that hat for me at a garage sale and knew I would swoon over it. I know you aren't supposed to wear hats in the evening by the old rules, but this hat just wouldn't work in the daytime unless you were at Ascot. My sister is the person that introduced me to your wonderful videos. I have a great sister :)

Dominique, I love hats. I have a plethora of hat's. I also think hat's are great for women with thinning hair. I was losing my hair a few year's ago and the doctor's had no idea why. After several blood tests and embarrassing visits to the doctor, I gave up. I started wearing my hat's "breathable material" to hide my thinning hair. They saved me. My hair did grow back but not nearly as thick as it once was... I'm so happy the European wide leg pant is back.

i am so glad to have found your series. you are so cute and dtylish. i loved the hats program. i am 80 yrs. young and use to love wearing hats when they eere in style. would love to again, but don't hang out at pools and most other places that you might wear hats. i attend church every Sunday but no one else wears a hat and if i did i would feel so self conscience. but i did love your hats show. love all your shows.

I love your hats Dominique.....my grandmother past away last February and she left me her collections of hats in hat boxes and they are gorgeous, two of them date from Victorian time they where left to her from her grandmother and the rest are more old Hollywood but my fav would have to be the white fur hat with a rhinestone broach on it always makes me think of Christmas and her...your video made me go look at them again

I LOVE hats. I have quite a few of them for summer and love your style. I have just got a new felt cloche hat for winter here in Australia - something different from the usual beanies and berets and would love to see you style some different winter hats as well, just to give me some great ideas. ..lol. I just started wearing hats due to the sun. Wish I started years ago. I will check out the website you listed. I am only 5"2 with a small head and usually look silly in average size hats because they fall below my ears. I was lucky to find the brand Scala which has some hats for smaller heads if anyone wants to check it out who has the same problem..

I bought two hats on sale at Nordstrom last summer before my trip to Hawaii. Both are straw, one a tan with fedora and the other a white more floppy fedora-like style. It's the first time I've worn a hat because my hair was always so frizzy and puffy in the summer I couldn't find one that fit!! Now that my hair is similar to yours, much easier!! I donated a 12" ponytail of hair to a charity who provides free wigs to children with cancer.
