any tips for how to make things look pretty even with a toddler? im finding it hard to have a balance of pretty and safe for my boy... hes broken a pot i thought was indestructable and ripped books etc. hes a good kid just very curious. i know youve had two go through this phase how did you do it? not just coffee tables either... i feel my house is bland from the waste down! 😉

Hi Studio McGee! Want to thank you for all these great tips. I REALLY enjoy your videos. Need some recommendations on how to style narrow staircase with high/tall walls. Not sure what to add since they are narrow and I really don't want things extending out to far since we don't want the kids poking an eye. I have some art in surrounding areas but don't want to over whelmed the area with to much art. They also end with windows up top with ledges but they are extremely challenging to access because of the design and heights. I wanted to do a window treatment DIY but not sure how too. Stairs and ladders and angles if you understand the layout? Also cleaning that area wouldn't be easy so I'm not sure if I should even try to add anything to the window ledges. Please help help help...

Although I like the idea & textural quality of for instance, the beads, I cannot imagine just buying over-priced, useless objects to place on my table rather than cultivating items from travel, inherited or an outing to an antiques store, etc. Things that have personal meaning & memories attached. I would rather have empty shelves/tables (even if for a long time, if necessary) than place random items, just to place them.

No one is making you buy anything!!! You can apply these principles to things you already have or find on your treasure hunts, neighbor's backyard, side of the road, etc. They are just tips to help people bring it all together!
