I love this series so much! Could you do one on edgy classic/chic?
@georgiataylor-white74023 жыл бұрын
On the sense of ones adapting an “edgy” esk style I would recommend there video upon the analysis of character- effy from skins. Even if u have no clue of the character,it is in its sense more of a edgy clothing analysis. While I guess the style would not throughout be described as chic later into the video when they analysed beyond her teens it was much more so.

@@georgiataylor-white7402 yes I’m very familiar with Effy and I loved the analysis of her style. I do take some inspiration from her but I want something a bit more chic. Thank you I appreciate your help >3

Uuhhhh I was literally wondering how to do this THIS AFTERNOON. Crazy. 🤣 I'm getting older and I am so used to dressing so extra and wearing uncomfortable outfits that make me feel confident. Now I want to be comfortable but still have that good feeling like when I'm wearing a beautiful outfit.

Pro Tip: I absolutely love these videos but sometimes find that I’m not absorbing the information as I’m listening to it. I’ve found it’s because the narrator’s cadence of speech is slower than average for clarity. It helps to listen at 1.25 speed. Cheers!

This is an amazing video and your editing is, as always, wonderful. You should check out Wales Bonner if you haven't yet, because it explores many of the aspects of this video in most of her collections specially the casual yet ellegant looks and the influence of intellectuals through black and caribbean culture in the United Kingdom.

I would love to see your take on hot climates. Looking chic when you can’t add a blazer or third piece is more difficult. When you live in a hot climate where the standard level of dressing is a pair of shorts and a cotton t-shirt, it’s a challenge to look chic. Once you have the requisite linen shirt or shirt dress and something eyelet, what else?

I’d be happy to make a video on the topic and explain some techniques and recommendations for pieces. Thank you for the request 🙏🏻

I'm not sure if it's the way she edits her narration, but her inflections and pauses aren't typical of most English speakers. She pauses mid-sentence where it doesn't make sense, and her voice goes up or down at the wrong times, like an automated voice. Even I have trouble understanding her and I'm a native English speaker.

And one final question if you can answer it ... if i own a trench coat made out of denim it becomes more casual, so even if by purpose it is a more formal item, by texture it becomes more casual, so when i mix it with a more formal item then it is well balanced ?
