HOW TO STYLE: doc marten oxfords | dr martens quad 8053 platforms review: the shoe of fall 2020

Hello! In this video I show you the different ways I like to style my Dr Marten 8053 quad platform oxfords. As I mention in the video, these shoes are actually so versatile and can be worn so many ways, so I wanted to demonstrate that by showcasing 6 different styles and looks using these shoes that fall into 6 different categories, or so called "aesthetics." I have gotten a lot of questions about these shoes in the past and I know they are very popular, and I haven't really seen any videos styling them like so, so I hope you enjoy! :)

I'm really into Docs lately. I am a teacher and I am looking for ideas to style them in that context. Looking more "elegant" but young thanks to the shoes. I feel it's kind of difficult but dark academia aesthetic looks similar to what I am looking for. Thanks!

I’m so glad she showed me these shoes, I went to go buy some, but the lady told me they hurt your ankles because the rim of the shoe has no cover. My mom suggested to get the high top ones but I really wanted the low platforms. I am so glad you showed me these so that I could find doc martens the that work for me!

Hey, did yours have a little tiny gap in them? One of my shoes have that and while I can’t feel it with my feet I can feel with with my hand if I put them inside the shoe. Will the gap get bigger? Should I return and get another or just leave it?

Hey! I'm a US size 9 as well and I originally got them in a 9 and they were HUGE. In my opinion I'd say size down at least one size, I now have them in an 8 and they fit :)

How would you say is the sizing for example I’m a US 5 grade school in Nike and US 6 women’s in Nike so would you say size down 5 or go with a size 6

definitely something I forgot to talk about in this video which I wish I would have! I personally say to size down..I am usually a US 9 in doc boots, so I got the same originally for the oxfords and they were HUGE on me, so I ended up returning them and getting a size 8!

Hi, can you say more about boots? How hard are soles? It is comfortable? When you walk, you feel anything under boots, or soles are hard, and you can crush for example Peanuts and didn't feel this under boots?

They're not the most comfortable rn honestly, cuz I get a lot of blisters but I think that's because I haven't broken them in yet properly!
